Erfurt 1908 Military Luger Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 3478, 9
mm cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish,
hardwood grips. Dated “1912” on the extension, with
fixed sights, “crown/ERFURT” on the front toggle link, and
Imperial German proofs overall. As is appropriate for the era,
the pistol is not fitted with a stock lug or a hold-open device (and has not been modified for the latter, a commonly seen arsenal modification, scarce). A “crown/RC” proof is present on the front of the trigger guard, with a unit mark “B.1.T.L.2.4.” on the front strap, with straw finished small parts, checkered grips,
and a nickel finished magazine with hardwood
base. Minus the magazine, numbers are matching
overall, including on
the grip panels.
CONDITION: Excellent,
with 90% of the
original blue finish
showing some bright
edge wear, mild
spotting and light handling marks. Some dents are present on the left side of the frame. 75% of the straw colors are present, especially strong and bright on the trigger and ejector, the remainder fading to gray with mild spotting. The grips are also excellent, with some stains, dings, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

DWM Model 1906 Commercial
American Eagle Luger Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 66686, 9
mm cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish,
hardwood grips. Fixed sights, with the
American Eagle on the chamber, “DWM” on the front toggle
link, and the “GERMANY” import mark on the front of the
frame. Chambered in 9MM Parabellum, whereas most are in the
more commonly encountered 7.65mm Luger Auto, with a small
stamp on the left side of the barrel, either an incomplete “B” or a
Cyrillic “Be”. The extractor is marked “LOADED”, and the lower safety position is polished bright. The grips, magazine base and some small parts are unnumbered; otherwise, the numbers are matching overall in “commercial” style. Fitted with straw colored small parts, checkered grips, and a nickel magazine with a scarce “Cal 9 m/m” marked hardwood base. CONDITION: Fine

Scarce Erfurt “1914” Date Artillery Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol Rig with Shoulder Stock - Serial no. 1216B, 9 mm cal., 8 inch round bbl., blue finish,
hardwood grips. Fine tune adjustable blade front and tangent rear sights, “1914” date on the chamber and “crown/ERFURT” on the
front toggle link. “Crown/Gothic letter” proofs are present on many parts, with Imperial Eagle firing proofs on the barrel, extension and
breech and Revision Commission stamp on the barrel. Minus the magazine, numbers are
matching overall. Grips are checkered, and
the magazine is nickel with a hardwood base. Included with the pistol is a stock
rig consisting of a hardwood board stock (numbered
“1023/h” on the iron), brown leather holster and
shoulder strap, and a cleaning rod.
CONDITION: Very fine as professionally restored by
Gale Morgan per the consignor, showing 98% of the blue, with some minor handling marks overall. Strong straw color is present on the small parts, and the grips are also very fine with some flat spots and dings. The fine stock shows some dents and scuffs, with the holster showing cracking and scratching and some of the straps appearing to be later replacements. Mechanically excellent.

“1921” Dated DWM 1920 Police Luger Semi- Automatic Pistol Rig with Matching Number Holster, Magazine, and Takedown Tool - Serial
no. 3323, 9 mm Luger cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Fixed sights with “1921” on
the chamber and “DWM” on the toggle. Weimar
eagle above “ArA4” and “WaA4” straight wing proofs stamped on the right of the extension. “S.D.V.140.” marked on the front grip strap. Matching serial numbers visible on various components including
the aluminum base magazine currently in the gun. Includes a matching number “1933” dated Gustav Reinhardt of Berlin leather holster, extra non-matching aluminum base magazine and matching number combination tool.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 90% dull arsenal refurbished blue finish with some light loss and light pitting concentrated on the side plate. Grips are fine with a
few light wear spots. Mechanically excellent. Included holster is very good.
