Rare World War II German Eickhorn Technical Emergency Corps (TeNo)
Leader’s Dagger with Sheath and Hanger - Serial no. 1611. Eickhorn Solingen TeNo Leader’s dagger with dress hanger and scabbard. The dagger has an 11 inch, polished spear point blade. The obverse of the blade is etched with an Eagle and Swastika with superimposed TeNo cog wheel with “GES./GESCH.” on either side of the eagle. The Eickhorn trademark is etched immediately below the eagle. The reverse of the blade is etched with the serial number “1611”. The dagger has the TeNo Eagle/Swastika/Cog Wheel insignia on the cross guard and a cog wheel on both sides of the pommel. The dagger has a ribbed, orange plastic grip. The silver-plated dagger has a pebble finished body. The matching serial number “1611” is stamped on the top of the dagger throat. The silver-plated scabbard, cross guard and pommel have a burnished, black oxidized finish.
CONDITION: Excellent overall with a few light handling marks, and the hanger is fine with some light wear. Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr. Collection.

Rare Horster Production Hitler Youth Leader’s Dagger with Sheath -
Adopted in 1937 after the design was personally approved by the Fuhrer. This
style of dagger was not available for retail purchase and was only available
through the party itself. This fine Hitler Youth Leader’s Dagger or Fuhrerdolch measures 13 1/2 inches overall, and features a 9 1/2 inch double edged blade with a hexagonal cross section, deeply etched “BLUT UND EHRE!” (Blood and Honor) Hitler Youth slogan on the obverse side, and “RZM/M7/36” on the reverse. The RZM code identifies
the manufacturer as E&F Horster of Solingen. With a slightly down swept cross guard with simple decorations
on the sides, wood grip wrapped in silver wire, and matching silver plated pinned pommel with the Hitler Youth diamond on the end. Includes the correct leather wrapped sheath with silver plated fittings and suspension rings, and embossed Hitler Youth “eagle” on the throat, and a green velvet backed silver ribbon hanger.
CONDITION: Fine, with some light scuffing and spotting on the very fine blade, mixed patina on the silver components, a few spots of exposed wood on the otherwise tightly wrapped grip, and mild wear on the leather and hanger.

Fine Eickhorn Production Model 1936 NSKK
Dagger with Chained Sheath - Following after the
pattern of the 1936 redesign of the SS uniform dagger,
this style of dagger and sheath was intended for ranking
members of the NSKK (National Socialist Motor Corps),
which started as the transport arm of the Nazi Party and
became the leading driver’s education/traffic authority after the
rise to power of the party. Measuring 13 5/8 inches overall with
an 8 5/8 inch blade etched “Alles fur Deutschland” (Everything for
Germany) on the obverse, and the reverse showing an etched RZM
logo over “M7/66/1941” (Eickhorn) near the guard. Nickel-finished alloy
fittings with the traditional “SA” and Party Eagle badges on the brown
wood grip. With a black enamel and nickel-finished sheath fitted with an
integral middle suspension band and a chain hanger. The hanger is decorated
with oak leaves on the clip, NSKK eagles and sun wheel swastikas on the faces
“RZ/M” and “M5/8” (Assmann & Sons, Luedenscheid) on the back of one rear link and “MUSTERSCHUTZ/NSKK-/ KORPSFUHRUNG” on the back of one of the front links.
CONDITION: Fine overall. the blade shows some spotting, sheath rubs and a few light edge nicks, with strong and well detailed etching. A few small cracks are visible in the grip, and the nickel; and enamel components show some light flaking.

officers of the Foreign Office, the diplomats and administrators of the Office
received very similar sidearms, distinguished by the head of the Reichsadler on the guard, facing to the viewer’s
left for diplomats, right for administrators. Measuring 14 1/2 inches overall with a 10 1/8 inch blade, blackened
silver plated furniture, the aforementioned left-facing eagle on the guard, mother of pearl grips, and a blackened
metal sheath with a velvet backed silver ribbon hanger.
CONDITION: Very fine, with mild rubbing and spotting on the excellent blade, strong finish on the silvered
components with bright high points and edges, and mild handling marks overall.
