B25 Superposed Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 863RN05971, 12 gauge, 27 1/2 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1979. Blued Special Steel barrels with single steel bead sight on the matted vent rib, light engraving at the breech, 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and chokes marked “**-”/”*-” (improved cylinder/improved modified).
The coin finished action displays a pair of pheasants in a field on the left and a pair of mallards over a marsh on the right, both surrounded by floral scroll. Both game scenes are signed “J.M.Boulanger” at the bottom. The gun features a single trigger and tang mounted safety switch with gold inlaid “U”, “O”, and “S”. Nicely figured, multi- point checkered semi-Schnabel tip forend with engraved fittings and straight grip club butt stock with FN buttplate. Includes a Browning Naugahyde takedown case. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .725/.726 inches; choke constriction .010/.023 inches; minimum wall thickness .034/.035 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/2 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 12 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% blue and coin finishes, minimal handling evidence, tiny area of spotting on the forend shoe, slight rib ahead of the forend, and some oil staining in the coin. The wood is very fine with some minor marks and sharp checkering. The case is fine. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 5,000 - 8,000

Factory Richard Kowalski Engraved Belgian Browning 20 Gauge Diana Grade Superposed Skeet Shotgun - Serial no. 60478V70, 20 gauge, 26 1/2 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1970. Blued Special Steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard Browning markings, chokes marked “**$”/”**$” (skeet/skeet), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin grey receiver is engraved in the Diana Grade pattern with flowing scroll designs surrounding three game scenes depicting four mallards in a marsh on the right, a covey of pheasant in a wooded scene on the left, and pair of quail on the underside with an additional scene showing a pair of rabbits on the trigger guard. The action is signed
“R.KOWALSKI” on the right side beneath the game scene for Master Engraver Richard Kowalski. The gun features a single gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch with gold inlaid “U”, “O”, and “S”. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered skeet style forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with Browning ventilated rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements

CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% blue and 99% coin finishes with a slight rub ahead of the forend, minimal handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,500

Browning 20 Gauge Pigeon Grade Superposed Shotgun Two Barrel Set with
Case - Serial no. 19447S4, 20 gauge, 26 1/2 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1964. Single steel bead sight on the matted vent rib, 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and skeet/skeet chokes. Coin grey finished receiver with near full coverage scroll engraving surrounding scenes of pigeons in flight and deep relief cut oak leaf and acorn designs at the top of the action. Gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Nicely figured, multi- point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with Browning buttplate. Includes a second matching numbered 12 gauge barrel set measuring 26 1/2 inches with 2 3/4 inch chambers and skeet/skeet chokes as well as a Browning Naugahyde case that houses the whole set. Stock measurements: Drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 14 3/16 inches; weight 7 lbs. 7 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue finish with a slight rub ahead of the forend, 99% original coin finish with some oil discoloration around the edges, and minimal handling evidence. The wood is very fine with scattered dings and scratches and sharp checkering. The extra barrels are excellent and the case is very fine. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,750 - 4,750
