Blued Special Steel barrels with red front and white mid-bead sights on the matted vent rib, a pair of gold bands at the upper breech, 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and chokes marked “**$”/”**$” (skeet/skeet). The blued action displays fantastic raised relief gold inlaid scrollwork and three separate game scenes in multi-colored gold. The left side shows a pair of mallards over a pond scene, the right has three grouse with one drumming on a log, and the underside has a pair of feeding quail. The left side of the action is signed “ABEE” with the addition of Bee’s trademark bumble bee following the signature. The raised gold inlays continue onto the top lever, safety/ selector switch, both tangs, and the trigger guard which encloses a single gold trigger. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with raised gold inlaid fittings and pistol grip stock with checkered bare butt. Includes two extra matching barrel sets both measuring 28 inches with matching gold inlay and skeet/skeet chokes, the 28 gauge has 2 3/4 inch chambers and the .410 bore 3 inch, both with ejectors. Also included is a Browning takedown case that houses the entire set. Barrel measurements for the .410 bore set (U/O): choke constriction .002/.003 inches. Barrel measurements for the 28 gauge set (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .550/.552 inches; choke constriction .003/.004 inches; minimum wall .038/.034 thickness. Barrel and stock measurements for the 20 gauge set (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .626/.626 inches; choke constriction .005/.004 inches; minimum wall thickness .042/.045 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 2 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 13 oz. CONDITION: Very fine as masterfully upgrade by Angelo Bee, retaining 99% blue and gold finishes with a few spots of minor oxidation near the wood, some discoloration to the gold inlays, minor handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The extra barrels are very fine with slight wood fitment issues and areas of minor oxidation near the wood. The case is excellent. Mechanically excellent.
