Revolver with Original Black Box
- Serial no. 28133SA, 45 LC cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber
grips. Manufactured in 1959. Standard markings and features. Matching serial numbers are
found on the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap with partial serial number “133” on the grip panels and front
cylinder face. Assembly number “964” is marked on the loading gate. This revolver is pictured on page 54 of Don
“Colt Single-Action Revolver Handbook 1955-1975”, a copy of which is included, and is noted as being shipped on December 15, 1959. Also included is the original Colt black box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks, faint partial cylinder drag lines, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine. Provenance: The Don and Carol Wilkerson Collection.

Black Box - Serial no. 18277SA, 45 LC cal.,
12 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish,
walnut grips. Manufactured in 1957. Standard markings and features. Matching serial numbers are found on the frame, trigger guard, backstrap, and left grip panel. The right grip panel is numbered “18403”. Assembly number “869” is marked on the cylinder front face and inside the loading gate. This revolver is pictured on page 84 of Don Wilkerson’s “Colt Single-Action Revolver Handbook 1955-1975”, a copy is included, where it is cited as being shipped on December 10, 1957 and having thicker than normal grips. Includes original Colt black box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with a detached but included lid short end.
