Documented Nickel Colt
Second Generation Single
Action Army .44 Special Revolver with Original Black Box - Serial
no. 21369SA, 44 special cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., nickel finish, hard
rubber grips. Manufactured in 1958 as one of a mere 55 revolvers in this configuration, making it the one
of the rarest post-war configurations. Standard markings and features as well as matching serial number
on frame, trigger guard, backstrap, and both grip panels (“369”) and matching assembly number on loading gate and frame.
This revolver is pictured on page 110 of Don Wilkerson’s “Colt Single-Action Revolver Handbook 1955-1975”, a copy of which is included, and is noted as being
shipped on December 5, 1958. Also included is the original black box for the revolver.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original nickel finish with limited handling marks, a light cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with repairs. Provenance: The Don and Carol Wilkerson Collection.

Manufactured in 1958 as one of only 113 in this configuration. Standard markings and features. Matching serial numbers on frame, triggerguard, backstrap, and partial serial number “302” on the front cylinder face. Grips numbered 392”. Assembly number “723” marked on the loading gate.
