Rare Farmed May 1919 Remington UMC Calendar by Lynn Bogue Hunt

an eagle. The
bottom center of the image displays the signature of the artist Lynn Bogue Hunt. Below
the image is a print of the three Remington UMC factories above text reading “Largest Manufacturers of Firearms and Ammunition in the World/Remington UMC” flanked by Remington UMC logos. Stapled to the bottom is a May 1919 calendar with the slogan “For the N.R.A. Outdoor Small-Bore Qualification Course, you can’t beat the Remington UMC .22 Target Grade Repeating Rifle and Long Rifle Lesmok Cartridges. Fitted in a wooden frame. Frame measures 17 1/2 inches x 33 1/4 inches.
CONDITION: Very fine with storage and handling marks. The image shows some creasing and a small stain on the lower left edge. Colors remain vibrant

is a December 1913 calendar with the Remington UMC logo in the background and the address below the dates. After the last day is a text box reading “Remington-U M C .22 and .32 caliber single shot rifles. Low/price. High quality. Accuracy and safety guaranteed by the/Remington-UMC name.” This calendar is pictured on page 24 of “A Life’s Tapestry of a Collector: The Gamble Collection” by George F. Gamble and R.L. Wilson. Mounted in a wooden frame. Frame measures 22 3/4 inches x 35 1/4 inches. CONDITION: Fine with storage and handling marks, some creases, and light remnants of the previous months on the calendar.
