Engraved Pair of Clark “Man Stopper” Percussion Boxlock Pocket Pistols
-A) Clark Pocket Pistol - Serial no. 16, 18 Bore cal., 3 inch round bbl., casehardened finish, walnut grips. Manufactured c. 1840-1850. The smoothbore barrels have border engraving and lugs on the bottom for removal with a barrel wrench (not included). The bottom of the actions at the breeches have “16” and London proofs. The action has scroll
engraving, folding triggers, sliding safeties, and “CLARK/
LONDON” on the left. The grips are finely checkered and
have silver escutcheons.
CONDITION: Very good with patches of vibrant original
case colors in the protected areas and otherwise mottled
gray patina, crisp checkering, some light oxidation, and
minor overall wear. The grip is also very good and has some minor wear on the otherwise crisp checkering and light dings. Mechanically fine.

CONDITION: Very good with patches of vibrant original
case colors in the protected areas and otherwise mottled
gray patina, crisp checkering, some light oxidation, and
minor overall wear. The grip is also very good and has
some minor wear on the otherwise crisp checkering and
light dings. Mechanically fine.

Tiny Cased Pair of Engraved Miniature Boxlock Percussion Pocket Pistols
-A) Miniature Pocket Pistol - NSN. These tiny pistols measure less than 1 5/8 inches in overall length but still have finely detailed engraving, screw off barrels, working hammers, folding triggers, and gold grips with scroll engraving. They come in a small dark green picture style case with a matching tiny ball mold with a barrel wrench and nipple wrench on
the arms. These would have been incredibly difficult to make. They take the same skills as full-size firearms but an incredible degree of precision as well.
CONDITION: Very fine overall with minimal wear, crisp engraving, and very attractive overall design. The case is fine and has mild age and storage related wear.

CONDITION: Very fine with minimal wear and crisp engraving.
Extremely Fine Pair of Engraved Lelyon Sidehammer Boxlock Percussion Pocket Pistols -A) Lelyon Pocket Pistol - NSN, 28 bore/.54 cal., 3 1/4 inch octagon bbl., casehardened finish, ebony grips. These mid-19th century French pocket pistols have finely rifled barrels with bands of foliate engraving at the muzzles and breeches, “LELYON A PARIS” marked on top of the barrels, “1” and “2” respectively on the barrels and actions at the breeches, lightning patterns on the bolsters, scroll and border engraving on the actions, bestial designs on the hammers, shell pattern pommel caps with small compartments, integral blade and notch sights, folding triggers, overall casehardened finish and ebony grips. CONDITION: Extremely fine with 90% plus of the vibrant casehardened finish, crisp engraving and markings, light handling and storage marks, and generally minimal overall wear. The grip is also very fine aside from some chipping at the toe, a faint crack and chip at the upper tang, and light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. B) Lelyon Pocket Pistol - NSN, 28 bore/.54 cal., 3 1/4 inch octagon bbl., casehardened finish, ebony grips. CONDITION: Extremely fine with 90% plus casehardened finish, crisp engraving and markings, light handling and storage marks, and minimal overall wear. The grip is also very fine aside from some chips at the heel, additional very faint cracks and flakes at the other edges, and minimal handling wear. Mechanically excellent.
