         LOT 3309 Indian Four-Shot Revolving Matchlock Musket with Painted Stock - NSN, 48 cal., 35 inch round bbl., bright finish, wood stock. Similar Indian matchlock revolvers have been dated to around the mid-18th century to the early 19th century. The barrel has a flared muzzle with a copper post sight and some engraving. The revolving chambers lock in place via a bar on top of the breech end of the barrel. A notch rear sight is built into the breech plate. The metal action and stock have elaborate painted designs. CONDITION: Good with mostly silver-gray patina on the iron, some mild pitting, flaking of the painted finish on the action and stock, and moderate overall wear. The serpentine need some work.     LOT 3310 Very Ornate Pierced and Chiseled Miquelet Sporting Gun - NSN, 45 cal., 46 3/4 inch octagon bbl., bright finish, metal/hardwood stock. This 18th century Italian smoothbore long gun is marked “L FRANZINI” on the barrel and “TOM CATARO” on the lock. The smoothbore barrel has some engraving on the breech section. The lock has some scroll engraving. The stock features extensive iron overlays with some in elaborate interlaced scroll patterns and some floral and mask motifs. CONDITION: Good with mostly distinct designs, gray patina, some mild pitting, damaged muzzle, and moderate overall wear including some chips and absent overall sections. Full-cock need some work, but otherwise mechanically functions fine. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,500
  LOT 3311 Niello Decorated Silver Powder Flask and Belt - The powder flask and the various silver fittings on the belt have a variety of engraved scroll and floral patterns with dark niello accents. The powder flask has a panel with calligraphic writing (appears to be Arabic). One of the plates on the belt is in the shape of a revolver, and another is shaped like six cartridges. Others include designs of crowns or turbans and crescents. CONDITION: Very good with dark aged patina on the silver, mild overall wear, fading of the leather, and distinct artistry throughout.
