Excellent Late World War II Walther “ac/45” K43 Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 4020D, 8 mm cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue/phosphate finish, laminate stock. Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights, with a rough cast and machined receiver marked “K43” and “ac/45” on the left side. The bolt carrier is numbered to match the receiver, sans reinforcing web and bolt catch, with a hollow cocking handle on the left side. Fitted with a smooth pistol grip laminated stock, with a brown leather sling and a cupped trapdoor buttplate. Includes an extra magazine. CONDITION: Excellent. The barrel shows 90% plus original blue finish, with some minor spotting and handling marks, while the carrier shows some areas of brown and the phosphate finished components shows 95% plus original finish with mild wear and spotting. The stock is very fine, with scuffs and dents. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr. Collection. Estimate: 4,000 - 6,000
LOT 3374 World War II Walther G43 “ac 44” Code Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 3182J, 8 mm cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, laminate stock. Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights, with the “G43” model marking, serial number, and “ac 44” Walther code on the left side of the cast receiver, which is fitted with an integral scope rail on the right side. A matching serial number is present on the bolt carrier, with the manual catch on the right side and the solid cocking knob on the left, and the smooth pistol grip stock is also numbered to match on the underside. With a brown leather sling. CONDITION: Fine, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, scattered spotting, and mild handling marks. Exceptional German Mauser 98 Commercial Production Bolt Action “Wehrmannsgewehr” Serviceman’s Target Rifle - Serial no. 123686, 8.15mm x 46R cal., 29 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Patterned as closely as possible after the Gewehr 98 military rifle, the “Wehrmannsgewehr” was intended for civilian or paramilitary target practice, using the commercial 8.15x46 cartridge instead of the 7.92x57, which was restricted post-World War I. These rifles were commonly produced in single shot variations, whereas this particular rifle is not single shot and has an internal magazine with spring loaded follower. The serial number of this example, 123686, places it into 1940 wartime production. Blade front and tangent rear sights with a windage adjustment knob and graduations for 100, 175 and 300 meters. The barrel has the matching serial number and caliber marking on the left at the breech. The Mauser banner is marked
on top of the receiver ring, with the left of the receiver marked with stag horn and “eagle/N” proofs, the serial number and Oberndorf address. Smooth pistol grip stock with a flat stee buttplate. Small “eagle/63” Waffenamt stamp on the rear sling swivel base CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% original commercial high polish blue finish with some light handling marks. Stock is very fine with defined edges, a chip on the right edge beneath the rear sight, and a few light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Absent rear sling swivel

Scarce World War II German Erma Erfurt/Feinmechanische Werke “ax/41”
Code K98k Bolt Action Rifle with Bayonet - Serial no. 1376, 8 mm cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, laminate stock. “ax” code arms were only in production for 2 years, with a limited amount manufactured. Blade and tangent sights, with “ax/41” manufacturer/date markings on the receiver ring, “eagle/swastika” and “eagle/ 280” proofs on the rear sight base and receiver ring, and “Mod. 98” in correct script on the receiver wall. Matching serial numbers visible on various components, including the bolt and stock. Smooth laminated stock, with a faint “eagle/H” Heer stamp, “eagle/280” stamps and a flat buttplate. Includes period leather sling, “S/172” (Carl Eickhorn) marked bayonet and metal scabbard with leather frog. CONDITION: Fine, retains 70% arsenal refinished blue finish with smooth brown patina on the balance, a few scattered small patches of light pitting, and defined markings and edges in the metal. Stock is very good as arsenal refinished, with scattered light scratches and handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Included bayonet is fine. Scabbard is very good. German 1918/1920 Dual Dated Danzig Kar 98 Bolt Action Rifle with Bayonet - Serial no. 9208G, 7.92 mm Mauser cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1918 for use by the Imperial German Army in World War I, and subsequently overhauled in 1920, likely for German police issue, with both dates present on the front receiver ring around the “crown/DANZIG” manufacturer’s mark. Blade front and tangent rear sights, fitted in a smooth pistol grip stock with grasping grooves, “1920” stamped on the left of the buttstock, Gothic crown stamps on the right of the buttstock, matching serial number on the underside of the buttstock, and a flat steel buttplate. Full and partial matching serial number marked on various components. Includes a “17” dated Schubert & Salzer M98/05 butcher bayonet and metal scabbard with leather frog. CONDITION: Very fine as arsenal refurbished, retains 80% blue finish showing a few areas of gray and brown patina. Stock is also very fine with a few scattered scratches, crisp grasping grooves, edges and stampings. Mechanically excellent. Included bayonet, scabbard and frog are all very good.
