L W Collins 1/2 Scale Semi-Automatic Copy of an M2 HB Machine Gun with Quadpod and Crate - Serial no. 11638, 22 , 19 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut grips. Manufactured as a semi-automatic miniature of a water cooled M2 Browning machine gun. This copy has been scaled down to accept the .22 long rifle cartridge. The right side plate is marked “”U.S. NO. 11638 GVT INSP. LWC/BROWNING MACHINE GUN CAL. .50 M2/MANUFACTURED BY/COLT’S PATENT FIRE ARMS MFG. CO./HARTFORD, CONN, U.S.A.” with the L W Collins address on the interior. Includes a wooden replica crate, quadpod, T&E mechanism, two ammo cans, dummy rounds, an extra barrel, flash hider, and cloth belts. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original parkerized finish with limited handling marks and some light scuffs. Mechanically excellent. Case and accessories are all very fine with storage and handling marks. Estimate: 3,000 - 5,000

L W Collins 1/2 Scale Semi-Automatic Copy of an M1917A1 Machine Gun with Tripod and Crate - Serial no. 011638, 22 LR , 12 inch round bbl., parkerized finish. Manufactured as a semi- automatic miniature of a water cooled Model 1917 machine gun. The left side plate is marked with the standard markings of its full size Rock Island made counterpart as well as having “LW COLLINS/SEBRING FL” inside the ejection port. The front sight is mounted to the water jacket, with the rear on the feed cover. Includes a miniature wood crate with two miniature reproduction wooden ammo cans, cloth belts, dummy rounds, and a miniature tripod. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original parkerized finish with limited handling marks. Mechanically needs work as the bolt will not draw to the rear and cock. Accessories are very fine with storage and handling marks. Estimate: 3,000 - 5,000
