Excellent World War II U.S. Springfield M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 3117028, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. This is an excellent example of a World War II U.S. Springfield M1 Garand rifle. The receiver of this rifle was manufactured in September of 1944, with a “1-S-A-9-44” marked barrel, “-19SA” bolt, “-14-SA” trigger housing, and “9 SA” operating rod. Blade front and peep rear sights, bar lock windage drum and a “BATTLE RANGE” marked
elevation drum. Mounted on a smooth walnut pistol grip stock with a boxed “S.A./GAW” cartouche, crossed cannons ordnance cartouche and circled “P” proof. Includes an oiler in the butt compartment. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% original parkerized finish with a few areas of light freckling and slight thinning on the exposed portion of the barrel. Stock is also excellent with exceptionally defined edges, a few light handling marks, and crisp stampings. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,000 - 4,500

Exceptional U.S. Springfield Model 1903A1 National Match Bolt Action Rifle with Bayonet - Serial no. 1311435, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Standard receiver markings over the serial number “1311435”. The barrel is marked “SA” above the Ordnance shell & flame insignia and the date “3-29”, and with the small star gauge marking on the muzzle. The barrel is fitted with a Marble No. 11 blade front sight and blued folding ladder rear sight with large period
replacement windage knob. It has a matching electro-stencil serial numbered “N.S.” marked bright polished bolt with a headless cocking piece. It is fitted with a two-bolt walnut pistol grip “C” type stock with a boxed “D.A.L.” inspection cartouche stamped on the left wrist, a circled “P” proof on the front of the pistol grip, and stamped with the matching serial number on the bottom of the buttstock. It has the standard all milled components, with a heavily checkered steel buttplate. Receiver mounted Lyman peep sight. Includes a “1918” dated parkerized Springfield M1905 bayonet, “1918” dated Brauer Bros. tan canvas scabbard, “42” dated Boyt M1907 leather sling, P.J. O’Hare rear sight cover, and the butt compartment contains a combination tool, two extra firing pins, extra Marble No. 11 sight blade and oiler. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 90% plus original parkerized finish with some light finish loss concentrated around the front sight and base, 80% original blue finish on the rear sight, and half of the original blue finish on the bolt sleeve. Stock is very fine with defined edges and a few light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Included bayonet and scabbard are both fine, the left grip panel of the bayonet has a mild crack. Very Fine Pre-World War I U.S. Springfield Model 1903 Bolt Action Rifle Dated 1909 with 1909 Dated Bayonet and Scabbard - Serial no. 368858, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. This is a very desirable U.S. Springfield Model 1903 rifle, still in its original configuration as manufactured in 1909. The receiver is roll marked with the five-line, standard Springfield Armory markings, and the top of the barrel is stamped “SA” above
the Ordnance shell and flame insignia and the date “5-09”. The rifle has an oil quenched casehardened receiver and all blued milled components that include the barrel bands, bolt, trigger guard, and floorplate. The safety and cut-off lever are casehardened. It is fitted with a walnut “S” style stock that has a single reinforcing bolt as introduced in the year 1909, flat top handguard, smooth steel buttplate with compartment, smooth trigger, dished windage and elevation knob, and rear sight leaf with the 2,850 yard notch. “H” marked on the bayonet lug, two “S” stamps on the right of the rear bolt lug, “T” marked underneath the bolt handle, the left stock wrist is stamped with the Ordnance final inspection initials “J.F.C.” in a rectangle, a small “E” in the cutoff recess, and a small “27” above a circled script “P” firing proof stamped behind the trigger guard. Includes a “1909” dated Springfield M1905 bayonet, “1909” dated Rock Island Arsenal leather scabbard, “1910” dated Rock Island Arsenal M1907 leather sling, and oiler inside the butt compartment. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 70% original blue and oil-quenched finish with smooth brown patina and some scattered light to moderate freckling on the balance, a few small patches of light pitting, and otherwise sharp edges and markings in the metal overall. Stock is excellent with crisp grasping grooves and defined edges, some light handling marks, a few small chips at the toe, and a crisp cartouche and proofmark. Mechanically excellent. Included bayonet and scabbard are both fine. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,500
LOT 3495 Excellent U.S. IBM M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine - Serial no. 3944300, 30 Carbine cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized/blue finish, walnut stock. Undated IBM barrel, “SI B” marked blade front sight, “FO B” and “S” marked two position flip-up rear sight, “AOB” round blued bolt, “AOB” operating rod, “BE-B” stamped and brazed trigger housing, “EP B” push button safety, “PR-B” magazine catch, and “SY-B” magazine. Low wood pistol grip stock with “JLB” marked in the sling inlet, crossed cannons ordnance cartouche on the right of the buttstock, and “SCB” two-rivet handguard. Includes canvas sling and oiler.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% plus original parkerized finish with some scattered light surface freckling on the barrel and some small patches of light corrosion on the barrel band and trigger guard. 80% original blue finish remains on the bolt. Stock is also excellent with some scattered light scratches and crisp stampings. Mechanically functions fine, but the safety requires extra force to function. Blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, “6-54” dated “HRA” barrel, “HRA” marked trigger group, hammer, and safety, and operating rod. Pistol grip stock with DoD “eagle” cartouche on left, circled “P” on the wrist, and stamped checkered trapdoor buttplate. Includes CMP Certificate of Authenticity indicating this is a Collector Grade example, reproduction M1907 leather sling, oiler and combination tool in buttstock. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retains 90% original parkerized finish with some light handling marks and bright edge wear. Stock is fine as lightly sanded and re-oiled with
