S05 Hand Detachable Sidelock Over/Under Shotgun -
Serial no. 37958, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock.
Blued Bohler Antinit steel barrels with dual bead sights on the matted vent rib and light engraving
at the breech end. The chambers are 2 3/4 inches with automatic ejectors, the chokes are marked full/full,
and the proofs are dated 1972. The coin finished hand detachable sidelock action displays beautifully cut floral scroll
engraving over a matted background which extends to the triggerguard, both tangs, and the pierced toplever which also
bears a gold inlaid coronet. The triggerplate is signed “A. Coltali” to the right of the trigger. The gun features a single gold trigger and a tang mounted manual safety/selector switch with gold inlaid “S”. Beautifully contrasting figure, multi-point checkered forend with
engraved fittings and straight comb pistol grip stock with black grip cap and Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved at 18.3 mm (.721 inches) and measured .726/.725 inches; choke constriction .037/.040 inches; minimum wall thickness .026/.031 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 1 3/8 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; cast-off; weight 7 lbs. 9 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minimal handling evidence and crisp checkering. The wood is very fine with a ding above the right lockplate, a few
minor marks, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

16 Gauge Italyco SLX Over/Under Shotgun
with Case - Serial no. B62841, 16 gauge, 28 3/4 inch solid rib bbl.,
blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with a single steel bead sight on the
matted solid rib, “FAUSTI-ITALY” inlaid in gold on the left of the upper barrel, 2020 dated proofs,
and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin finished sideplated action displays beautifully
cut broad floral scroll engraving with a Fausti emblem on the underside along with a pair of game bird scenes consisting of a pair of pheasants in flight over a field on the left and a pair of pheasant roosters posturing on the right. The triggerplate is signed “INC. STUDIO MORGHEN.” to the right of the trigger, the shop of Italian Master Engraver Beffa Giacomo. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip
stock with engraved coin grip cap and engraved coin toe and heel plates around the checkered butt. Includes a factory canvas and leather bound takedown case. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proofed 16.9mm (.665 inches) and measured .665/.666 inches; choke constriction .005/.026 inches;
minimum wall thickness .025/.025 inches; 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 7/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 9 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with limited handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case is excellent.
