Special Steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, single band of
marked “**$”/”**$” (skeet/skeet), and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin grey receiver is engraved in the Diana
Grade pattern with flowing scroll designs surrounding four game scenes depicting mallards in a marsh on the right, a covey of pheasant in a wooded scene on the left, a pair of quail on the underside, and a pair of rabbits on the trigger guard. The action is signed “J.LEWANCZYK” on the right side beneath the game scenes for Browning engraver Jules Lewanczyk. Single gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch with gold “S”, “O”, and “U”. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with Browning ventilated recoil pad. Includes an extra matching 28 inch 12 gauge barrel set featuring 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors and skeet/skeet chokes. Also included is a Browning Naugahyde takedown case that houses the set and paperwork detailing the 1996 stock replacement due to the infamous salt wood. Barrel measurements for the 12 gauge set (U/O): bores nine inches from the breech measured at .725/.725 inches; choke constriction .004/.005 inches; minimum wall thickness .038/.035 inches. Barrel and stock measurements for the 20 gauge set (U/O): bores nine inches from the breech measured at .621/.623 inches; choke constriction .004/.005 inches; minimum wall thickness .033/.033 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 1 15/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 6 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue and coin finishes, minor handling evidence, some minor oxidation on the barrel towards the muzzle and around the wood junctions, and sharp checkering on the forend and replacement stock. The extra barrel set is also excellent with some minor oxidation and sharp checkering. The case is very good. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 5,000 - 8,000

Blued Special Steel barrels with single steel bead sight on the matted vent rib, chokes marked “**”/”*” (modified/full), and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin gray finished action
displays the standard Pigeon Grade full coverage floral scroll engraving
surrounding scenes of pigeons in flight on the left and right as well as relief carved oak leaf and acorn designs carved at the fences. Gold washed single trigger and tang mounted safety/
selector switch with gold inlaid “O”, “U”, and “S”. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and highly figured round knob pistol grip stock with Browning buttplate. Includes a takedown case and unlabeled shipping box. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/8 inches; length of pull 14 7/16 inches; weight 6 lbs. 6 oz.
