World War II Production Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Rifle in Scarce .22 LR for Shot Only Caliber - Serial no. 64081, 22 LR Shot cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue
finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1942. Single nickel bead sight, Winchester counterbored smooth bore barrel, Winchester “WP” proofs on barrel and correct top grooved receiver at the breech, matching numbers on the receiver and trigger guard assembly, and smooth trigger. Walnut 17 groove forend and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered blue steel buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original blue finish with slide retraction wear, the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina. The wood is excellent with a few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,750 - 5,500

Action Rifle in .375 Magnum with Griffin and Howe Mounted Lyman Alaskan Scope - Serial no. 169998, 375 Magnum cal., 25 inch
Round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1950. Ramped beaded blade front and two leaf flip up rear notch sights, standard barrel markings, and Winchester “WP” proofs at the breech. Standard markings, polished bolt with late safety, polished follower, and “SUPER GRADE” marked floorplate. The receiver is mounted with a Lyman Alaskan scope on a Griffin and Howe mount. Multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with black forend tip, hard rubber Winchester grip cap
with initial escutcheon marked “J/G/P”, raised cheek piece, and red rubber Winchester recoil pad. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% original blue finish with some muzzle wear and some wear on the bolt handle. Stock is very fine with some separation at the seam of the nosecap and some varnish loss at the nosecap as well as overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope is very fine with some hazing optics and crisp reticle. Estimate: 3,000 - 4,500

Manufactured in 1940. Single nickel bead sight, Winchester counterbored smooth bore barrel, Winchester “WP” proofs on barrel and correct top grooved receiver at the breech, “W” stamped ahead of the trigger guard, matching numbers on the receiver and trigger guard assembly, and smooth trigger. Walnut 17 groove forend and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered blue steel buttplate. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 50% plus original faded blue finish with much of the wear on the front of the receiver and slide retraction area, light handling evidence, and numerous scattered pressure marks in the wood. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,500
LOT 3597 Excellent Winchester Model 61 Magnum Slide Action Rifle - Serial no. 345238, 22 Winchester magnum RF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. The Model 61 was developed by Winchester in an attempt to keep pace with its competitors’ hammerless .22 rifles. Model 61s were produced from 1932 to 1963, this variation (Magnum) was only produced from 1960 to 1963; with this example manufactured in 1963. It features a dovetail beaded blade front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight, grooved top of the receiver for scope mounting, tubular magazine, correct “A” below serial number visible, 17 groove flat bottom slide and pistol grip stock with a black plastic buttplate with “WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO” in a circle. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original bright blue finish with a couple light handling marks as well as some slide retraction marks on the barrel. Mechanically excellent.

   Presentation Cased Winchester 10 Gauge Signal Cannon - Serial no. P101, 10 ga blank. Produced by the Bellmore- Johnson Tool Company under license from Olin Corp. Marked for 10 gauge blanks only and a matching finished “W.R.A.Co.” marked carriage, 6 1/2 inches wide and 11 1/2 inches long. This cannon is the presentation model which features brass barrel and carriage with a polished steel accents. It is marked “P 101” on the left side near the breech. The cannon rests on a wooden base with clasps on the end to act as the bottom of the storage case. The lid case features a plaque reading “Serial #101/Presented To/Jim Stotts”. This cannon is numbered consecutively to another in this auction, LOT 3593. CONDITION: Excellent with an attractive light patina on the metal surfaces. Case and base are very fine with some storage and handling marks and an attractive patina on the hardware. Estimate: 3,000 - 4,500

Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Bolt Action Rifle in .243 Winchester - Serial no. 455596, 243 Win cal., 26 inch round bbl., matte blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1959. Sightless straight taper barrel with scope base towards the chamber and drilled and tapped towards the muzzle. The front receiver ring is fitted with a rear scope mounting point, while the rear ring is drilled and tapped both on top and the side for sight mounting. Period non-factory installed trigger shoe.
