 Barrel Set with Case - Serial no. 50223, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1956. Blued Special Steel barrels with white mid-bead and orange front sights on the matted vent rib, chokes marked “*”/”**” (modified/full), and 2 3/4
inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin grey receiver is engraved in the Diana Grade pattern with flowing scroll designs surrounding four game scenes depicting mallards in a marsh on the right, a covey of pheasant in a wooded scene on the left, a pair of quail on the underside, and a pair of rabbits on the trigger guard. The action is signed “FFUNKEN” on both
sides beneath the game scenes for Browning Master Engraver Felix Funken. Single gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch with gold “S”, “O”, and “U”. Attractively figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with Browning ventilated recoil pad. Includes an extra matching 26 1/2 inch 12 gauge barrel set featuring 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors and skeet/skeet chokes. Also included is a Browning takedown case that houses the set. Barrel measurements for the skeet set (U/O): bores nine inches from the breech measured at .732/.734 inches; choke constriction .008/.010 inches; minimum wall thickness .042/.038 inches. Barrel and stock measurements for the primary set (U/O): bores nine inches from the breech measured at .729/.728 inches; choke constriction .021/.036 inches; minimum wall thickness .050/.047 inches; 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 7/16 inch drop at heel; 14 9/16 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 3 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes, slight wear ahead of the forend, minimal handling marks, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The forend is modified to be easily removable. The extra barrel is excellent. The case is very good. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 5,000 - 8,000

Factory Engraved Belgian Browning Pigeon Grade 20 Gauge Superposed Shotgun - Serial no. 45184V7, 20 gauge, 26 1/4 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1967. Dual bead sights on the matte rib with 3 inch chambers, standard markings and Belgian proofs, ejectors, and skeet/skeet chokes. Full coverage pigeon grade engraving on the receiver with floral and scroll designs and relief carved oak leaves on the fences. Single gold washed trigger, and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with vented Browning recoil pad. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 14 inches. CONDITION: Excellent. 95% original blue finish remains with some light forearm marks on the barrels, and faint spotting on the receiver. The wood is also excellent with crisp checkering and scattered small dings. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,250 - 4,500

The blued boxlock action features Grade
I floral scroll engraving, a single gold trigger, and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend and round knob pistol grip stock with a Pachmayr Whiteline recoil pad. Includes a factory Naugahyde takedown case. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/16 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 9 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish, slight spotting on the upper tang, minor handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the wood. The case is very fine.
