Under Shotgun with Case - Serial no. FR013887, 12 gauge, 32 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Blued Triplex steel
barrels with dual bead sights on the matted adjustable vent rib, standard barrel markings, 2014 dated German
proofs, 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and upgraded interchangeable
titanium chokes (modified/full installed). The coin finished sideplated boxlock action displays beautifully cut floral scroll engraving over
a darkened background with game scenes on either sideplate. The left sideplate shows two mallards in flight over a marsh with another trio of
mallards on the water’s surface and the right sideplate shows a pair of pheasants taking off in a field scene. The triggerplate is signed “B&B BONSI/BROTHERS” to the right
of the triggerguard for the firm by that name and signed “D. Bonsi” on either sideplate for Master Engraver Diego Bonsi. Examples of Bonsi’s work can be seen on pages 38
and 39 of “Il Grande Libro Delle Incisioni” by Marco E. Nobili. The gun features bushed firing pins, a single selective gold trigger, and a tang mounted manual safety. Beautiful,
highly figured, multi-point checkered semi-Schnabel forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with right hand palm swell, adjustable comb, and factory recoil pad. The wood is of the highest
grade available. Included is a factory takedown case, barrel weight set, and two extra choke tubes (improved cylinder and improved modified). Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved at 18.6mm (.732 inches) and measured .736/.735 inches; minimum wall thickness .041/.040 inches; 1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 11/16 inch length of pull; cast-off; weight 8 lbs. 13 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with limited handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.

The silver nitride finished action displays beautifully cut floral scroll engraving with areas of deep
blackened background creating an attractive high contrast extending to the toplever, top latch, triggerguard, and upper tang. The gun features a single selective trigger and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point
checkered Schnabel tip forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with right hand palm swell, adjustable comb,
and Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Included is a factory takedown case, stock removal tool, and three extra choke tubs (light modified, modified, and improved modified). Barrel and
