Excellent Master Andre Dierckx Signed, Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Belgian
Browning Midas Grade Superposed Shotgun - Serial no. 71929S7, 12 gauge, 30 inch
vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1967, this Midas Grade Superposed shotgun features two beads on the matted vent rib, choked improved modified/full, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. scenes on each side and a gold inlaid quail on the bottom. Signed “A. DIERCKX” on the lower rear
of each side of the receiver for Master Engraved Andre Dierckx. The engraving design extends to the triggerguard, toplever and forend hardware. Gold single trigger, tang mounted safety/ selector with gold “O”, “S” and “U”. Mounted with a high gloss extra fancy black walnut fine-line checkered stock with a white-line Browning trap style recoil pad. Matching walnut beavertail
style forearm. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .724/.725 inches; choke constriction .026/.040 inches; minimum wall thickness .035/.033 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 1 9/16 inch drop at heel; 14 7/16 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs.
CONDITION: Excellent plus, the shotgun retains 99% original blue finish with some minor forearm wear on the lower barrel and light overall handling marks. The wood is also excellent with a few minor dings and handling marks, and some crazing of the varnish, with sharp checkering.
Mechanically excellent.

Factory Charles Legiers Double Signed and Engraved Belgian Browning Grade IV Superposed Shotgun
- Serial no. 75547, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1959. Blued steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard markings, some engraving at the breech, chokes marked “*-”/”*” (improved modified/full), and chambers marked 2 3/4 inches with automatic
ejectors. The coin finished action displays the Grade IV pattern from the 1950s, showing a vixen
bringing a mallard to her pups in a hollow on the left, a pair of pointers retrieving pheasants on the right, and a pair of birds on the underside and on the triggerguard. The scenes are surrounded by Germanic oak leaf relief engraving. The gun is signed “Legiers” on both sides
of the action for engraver Charles Legiers. The gun features a single trigger and a tang mounted safety/selector with gold “U”, “O”, and “S”. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with ventilated Browning recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .725/.729 inches; choke constriction .030/.038 inches; minimum wall thickness .045/.043 inches; 1 3/8
inch drop at comb; 1 3/4 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 3 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with limited handling evidence, some very minor oil discoloration on the action, and sharp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent.
