 LOT 360
MAC M11 SMG/Silencer Combo with Operational Briefcase, Class III/NFA -A) RPB M11 Submachine Gun, Class III/NFA
Fully Transferable, with Operational Briefcase Clandestine Carrier and Accessories - Serial no. A340, 380 ACP cal., 5 inch
round bbl., gray finish, plastic grips. A scaled-down variant of the famous M10 SMG, the M11 made an already compact CQB
weapon even more maneuverable. This particular example is bundled with an “Operational Briefcase”, a piece of luggage rigged
up to transport the weapon in a ready to fire condition but hidden from plain sight. A steel lever protruding from the bottom is
the largest clue that something is up with the wood framed black leatherette briefcase, with an ID tag/business card holder serving to conceal the muzzle port. The interior is upholstered in gray, with a shaped hardwood block to hold the gun and the included silencer in position, a brass deflector to reduce the risk of a spent round bouncing back into the gun and causing a jam, velcro sections for accessory storage, and the aforementioned steel lever positioned to hit the trigger when moved. The combination allows the weapon
to be fired instantly with the benefit of the silencer, though reloading still requires opening the case; best to make that first magazine count. Post and peep sights, with the RPB markings on the left side of the frame, MAC markings on the right, a safety switch on the underside near the trigger and a selector switch on the left. Fitted with a textured black plastic grip extension; the frame is slotted for a telescoping stock, but none is included. Also present is an extra magazine, a green cloth sling, and a barrel extension with leather belt case.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% of the original matte gray finish, showing some mild handling marks and edge wear overall. The barrel has turned a gray patina, and the grip extension shows some minor scuffs. The case is very good, with mild staining and scuffs. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
B) RPB Industries M11 Sionics Silencer, Class III/NFA Silencer - Serial no. R407, 380. Threaded to match “A”, with an expansion chamber and wipe pack to control escaping gas. With a heat protection Nomex cover.
CONDITION: Fine. The tube shows mild handling marks on the exterior, with a ragged hole punched through the wipes. NOTE: This Silencer is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. LOT 362
MK Arms MK760 Submachine Gun, Class III/NFA Transferable Machine Gun with Box and Extra Magazines - Serial no. P0093, 9 mm cal., 8 inch round bbl., matte gray finish, metal stock. Originally manufactured by Smith & Wesson as the Model 76, which in turn was designed to fill the same niche as the Gustaf M/45 “Swedish K” SMG, the MK Arms MK760 is a lightweight and agile weapon for close quarters fighting and, in the initial S&W incarnation, was a go-to weapon for the American special warfare community in Vietnam. Brought to market in 1983, the passage of the 1986 Firearm Owners Protection Act killed both the 760 and MK Arms in general, resulting in a very limited window of transferable production. Protected post front and notch rear sights, with the MK Arms markings on the magazine well, a combination barrel nut and ventilated heat shield, ambidextrous “SAFE”/”SEMI”/”FULL” selector, and a checkered pistol grip. A left-folding buttstock with rubberized covering is installed, and a 5 3/4 inch section of scope rail has been added to the receiver tube. Included with the lot is a matching numbered MK Arms box, two extra magazines, assorted papers, spare grip, other small extra parts, and a Harris-style bipod. CONDITION: Very fine, with 75% of the original matte gray phosphate finish, showing areas of rubbing, light scratches and mild handling marks. The stock rubber shows some minor scuffs. The magazine catch needs adjustment, otherwise mechanically fine. Estimate: 7,000 - 11,000
