Fleming Firearms/Heckler & Koch MP5A3, Class III/ NFA Fully Transferable Machine Gun with Box - Serial no. 7141, 9 mm cal., 9 1/2 inch round bbl., black finish, metal stock. Originally manufactured in Germany in 1985 as a HK94 semi-automatic rifle and imported by HK of Chantilly, VA, this firearm was upgraded post- 1985 by Fleming Firearms of Collinsville, OK (so marked on the right side of the receiver, hidden by the trigger group) into a MP5 submachine gun, with a remarked receiver, shortened barrel, welded sear trip on the bolt carrier, and an ambidextrous trigger pack installed in a red filled pictographic marked trigger housing. This gun has all the deluxe upgraded features. Notably, while most Fleming converted MP5s keep the shelf pattern receiver, this example has been modified to the “hinge pin” configuration, with a proper set of pin holes on the housing and receiver, and a functional magazine combat release paddle. The triple mounting lugs have been added to the barrel, and a two-position telescoping buttstock installed. One 30-round H&K magazine in the gun. Included with the lot is the original shipping box with hand markings from Fleming Firearms, HK pamphlet and 94 manual, and a green canvas sling. CONDITION: Excellent overall as upgraded to full auto by Fleming, with 99% plus matte black finish, showing some slight handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Has all the deluxe upgraded features. no. A126843, 223/5.56 mm NATO cal., 16 inch round bbl., matte black finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1981 and imported by HK Inc. of Arlington, Virginia, this HK rifle was upgraded and remarked by Fleming Firearms as a HK33 full automatic rifle. Post front and four-position drum rear sights, with the “HK33” model and “IB” date markings on the left side of the magazine well, importer marks on the right, and the Fleming markings on the right rear under the trigger housing. The receiver is the “hinge pin” pattern with functional paddle combat magazine release, with a 1981 “IB”-dated bolt carrier welded up and reshaped to engage the auto sear, ambidextrous pin pattern trigger pack in safe/semi/3-round/full auto configuration, and a deluxe pictographic 4-position lower trigger group with red marking filler. Fitted with a “jungle” pattern ventilated hardwood handguard and buttstock, the latter fitted with an E&L brand extension buttplate. One 25-round H&K magazine. Included with the lot is a triangular plastic handguard, telescoping buttstock, and a green canvas sling.
