New Service Double Action
Revolver with Box - Serial no.
353158, 45 Long Colt cal., 5 1/2
inch round bbl., blue finish,
walnut grips. Manufactured in
1943, with “M.P.” on the heel
of the butt and “NO.2735”
on the back strap. While not
documented, the Royal Canadian
Mounted Police used the New
Service in 455 Webley and 45 Colt
much of the early 20th century, including
into the 1940s. Blade front and notch
rear sights, the two-line Hartford
address and patent dates on top of
the barrel, “NEW SERVICE 45 COLT”
on the left side of the barrel, “VP” and
“Y” on the left side of the trigger guard and
the Rampant Colt on the side plate. The knurled
hammer, cylinder catch and smooth trigger are finished in a dark royal
blue, with polished sides on the hammer. Fitted with a lanyard swivel.
With a Colt box hand-numbered to the revolver, with appropriate white-
on-blue end label and a test target for a different revolver.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% plus original blue finish, showing some mild handling marks and bright edge war. The grips are also excellent, with a few mild dings. The box is very good, with some stains, scuffs and edge wear. Mechanically excellent.

Pre-World War II Colt First Series
Woodsman Match Target Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial
no. MT5579, 22 LR cal., 6 3/4 inch slab sided bbl., blue finish, walnut grips.
Manufactured in 1939. The pistol features standard markings including the
“MATCH/TARGET” and bullseye marking on the left of the barrel. It is fitted with pinned blade front and adjustable notch rear sights, serrated trigger, the desirable checkered “elephant ear” grips with Colt medallions. Magazine absent.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 97% original blue finish with some light edge wear, a couple handling marks, and crisp checkering on the excellent grip. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500

Excellent Pre-World War II Colt First Series Woodsman Sport Semi-Automatic Pistol with Original Box - Serial no. 126530, 22 LR cal., 4 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured
in 1939. Featuring a blade front sight, adjustable rear sight, and standard Colt markings. Includes a correct model factory box with illegible serial number and two extra magazines.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining
98% original blue finish, minor handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the grips. The box is fair with a detached lid, torn flaps, and significant wear. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,400 - 2,250

Colt Government Model
Semi-Automatic Pistol with
Factory Letter - Serial no.
C18022, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch
round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1915, the included factory letter confirms the current configuration and states that the pistol was shipped to Simmons Hardware Co. in St. Louis on 12 August 1915. The left side of the slide has the standard two- line, two-block patent dates and address, caliber marking on the right, and Government Model marking over the serial number on the right of
the frame. The barrel is marked “P” with a polished hamber hood. Fitted with non-factory, period
nstalled fixed blade front and notch rear sights, heckered diamond pattern grips, and
two-tone magazine.
ONDITION: Fine, retains 70% of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to a smooth
grey patina, primarily on the grip straps and edges. The grips are excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Production Three Digit Serial Number 869 Colt Second Series Woodsman Match Target Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 869-S, 22 LR cal., 6 inch slab sided bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. Manufactured in 1949. Fixed undercut Patridge blade front and fully adjustable rear target notch sights. The left side of the barrel is marked with the one-line Hartford address with the Rampant Colt and “MATCH TARGET” just forward of the breech. Fitted with a serrated push button magazine catch, slide catch, and thumb safety. The front and rear grip straps are serrated. The grips are checkered mottled brown plastic
with a right hand thumb rest.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% plus of the original
blue finish with some very light edge were and some
light residue in the serrations of the grip straps. The grips
are also excellent with a few scattered light handling
marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Colt Camp Perry Single Shot Single Action Target
Pistol - Serial no. 825, 22 LR cal., 8 1/4 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured from 1920 to 1941
with this example manufactured in 1927, this model was created
by modifying an Officer’s Model frame to accept a special flat
single shot “cylinder”. Colt named this model after the site of the
U.S. Target Competition held annually at Camp Perry, Ohio. Only 2,525 Camp Perry pistols were manufactured. This example has standard markings and features.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% plus original blue finish with some high
