Scarce DWM Model 1908 Navy
Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial
no. 2711b, 9 mm Luger cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue/straw finish, checkered walnut grips. This is a scarce 1908 pre-war German
Navy contract Luger manufactured by DWM. These can be distinguished by several features, primarily in that the grip safety
was eliminated and it has the second model safety that is in the
up position, with no date on the side of the frame. Approximately
8500 in total were produced, and they all fall into the “b” serial number suffix range. The top of the chamber is blank, and the top of the toggle is marked “DWM”. The right side of the barrel extension is blank, and the left side, bottom and side of the barrel have the small “Crown” proof along with the correct “Crown/M” Naval
acceptance proof. The rear grip

Very Fine DWM Model 1900 Commercial Luger Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 5142, 7.65 mm Luger Auto
cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Fixed sights,
with a desirable unmarked chamber, “DWM” on the front toggle
link, and early Luger features including dished toggles with toggle
lock on the right side, recessed breechblock, fast tapered barrel, flat recoil spring,
grip safety and no stock lug. The small parts are straw finished, with a pair of finely checkered grips and a nickel finished magazine with a hardwood base. The magazine
base is unnumbered, otherwise parts are matching overall. The front of the frame is marked “GERMANY”, appropriate to an American import of the era.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% original blue finish with smooth brown patina on the balance. 60% straw colors remain on the small parts. Grips are also fine with some light wear spots. Mechanically excellent.

World War II Mauser 1941 Production
“42” Code P.08 Luger “Black Widow” Semi- Automatic Pistol with 1941 Dated Holster - Serial no. 9817n, 9 mm
cal., 4 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, plastic grips. Fixed sights, with the scarce combination of “41” on
the chamber and “42” on
the toggle. The grips and magazine base are blank, otherwise numbers match overall, with a full blue finish and a pair of black checkered grips. Included with the pistol
is a brown leather flap holster marked “dtu41” on the back and an “eagle/635” marked takedown tool.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% plus original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, bright edge wear and mild handling marks overall. The
grips are also excellent, with some
flat spots on the otherwise sharply checkered original panels. The holster is excellent.
Mechanically excellent.

strap is marked “W.K./9856”, indicating it was issued from the dockyard at Kiel. The front of the frame and bottom of
the barrel have the full serial number and letter “b” suffix. t has the correct, later style flat checkered
toggles, second model safety that is in the upper position and the two-position naval rear sight. The magazine has the correct nickel plated body and the wooden base with concentric circles that is stamped with “Crown/M” Navy proof and the serial number on the base.
CONDITION: Very fine with 85% plus of the faded original blue finish remaining overall with some light thinning and browning on the length of the barrel, and edge and high spot wear overall and on the side plate hump. The front grip strap has more generalized wear with a 1/4 to 1/2 inch pitted area just above the mid-line that runs from side to side. The grips are in fine condition showing general light wear overall with nice diamonds with a couple of minor flat spots behind the magazine release button. The pistol retains 90% of the refinished straw colors on the safety lever, 75% original on the balance of parts. Matching numbers on all the parts, including the professionally renumbered to match correct style magazine. Mechanically excellent.

Commercial American Eagle Luger Semi-Automatic
Pistol - Serial no. 19190, 7.65 mm Luger Auto cal., 4 3/4
inch round bbl., blue finish, checkered walnut grips. This DWM
Model 1900 Luger semi-automatic pistol is chambered in 7.65
mm, with an American Eagle crest on the chamber, “DWM”
engraved on the front toggle link, and the “GERMANY” export mark on the front
of the frame. The lower safety position is polished bright. Aside from the period magazine, serial numbers are matching overall in “commercial” style. Fitted with straw
olored small parts and checkered grips.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine with 85% plus of the rich original blue and straw finish
emains, with light high-edge wear and a few scattered patches of spotting. The checkered wood grips are in excellent, with mostly crisp checkering, and a minor chip in the top rear portion of the left-side panel. The included magazine, other than a small crack in the wooden bottom piece, is in fine shape. Mechanically excellent.
