Ruger AC-556 Selective Fire Rifle, Class III/NFA Fully Transferable Machine Gun - Serial no. 190-07671, 223 cal., 18 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Marketed to law enforcement and foreign military clients, the AC-556 family of weapons is the Mini-14 223 caliber rifle configured as a factory original selective fire machine gun. Fixed blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, with no muzzle device, threading or bayonet lug on the barrel. The hold-open device is externally mounted, with a manual control lever, the safety is fit to the front of the triggerguard, and a low profile checkered selector switch is present on the right side of the receiver heel, with functional semi-automatic, 3-round burst, and full-automatic settings. A small sticker numbered ā9ā has been applied to
the front of the trigger guard. Smooth hardwood stock, with hardwood upper handguard, smooth wrist, smooth alloy buttplate and part of a brown leather sling. CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% of the original blue finish, with minor spotting concentrated around the front sight and muzzle, and mild handling marks overall. The stock is fine, with mild scuffs and dings. The burst fire mode needs mechanical adjustment, otherwise mechanically very good. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Submachine Gun with Accessories - Serial no. 102158, 9 mm cal.,
10 inch round bbl., matte gray finish, metal stock. Manufactured
using a South African-made Vector Arms UZI as the base, the HR
4332 was part of the final generation of fully transferable American
machine guns, manufactured shortly before the Firearm Owners
Protection Act (aka House Resolution 4332) went into effect making it among the last fully transferable machine guns manufactured in the United States. The receiver
is devoid of the barrel ring and bolt block that would normally prevent installation of military configuration components, and the item is currently fitted with a military-contour SMG barrel, a smooth-sided bolt , an unmarked receiver cover with ratcheting cocking handle, and a full auto trigger group with āA R Sā markings. The grips are ribbed, and it has steel folding stock. Includes a shipping box, six extra magazines and a sling.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% of the matte gray phosphate finish, showing mild handling marks. The forearm and grip panels are very good, with a few light scuffs and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
