 LOT 1475 Engraved J.P. Sauer & Son Over/Under Combination Gun with Scope - Serial no. I1405, 16/30-06 cal., 25 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in West Germany, this Combination Gun features a blade front sight, flip up rear sight and integral claw mount bases on the matte solid rib. The barrel is equipped with a Hensoldt Wetzlar 6x42 scope. The upper left side near the breech is marked with the two-line address and “SPEZIAL LAUFSTAHL logo BOCHUMER VEREIN” on the right side. Both barrels are marked “NITRO-PROVED”. The upper barrel is 16 gauge
with 2 3/4 inch chamber choked full, the lower barrel is 30-06 and there is a sling swivel mounted on the underside. The box lock action is coin,
the triggers bright and the remaining parts are blue. The action is lightly scroll engraved with the “ORIGINAL/SAUER” logo on the underside. Greener crossbolt, rifle set trigger and mounted with a multi point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a plastic grip cap and Sauer buttplate, cheek piece and sling swivel.
CONDITION: Excellent, the barrels retain 97% original blue finish. There is a small amount of finish loss on the lower barrel near the muzzle where there appears to be a repair on the seam of the rib and barrel. The remaining blue parts retain 99% plus original finish and the action retains all of the original coin finish. The wood is also excellent with only a few small minor dings and handling marks, and sharp checkering. The safety is very hard to move, otherwise the mechanics are excellent. The markings and engraving are crisp and clear. The scope is excellent with 98% original finish showing a few minor scratches and clear optics. Estimate: 2,750 - 4,250

Factory Game Scene Engraved Franz Sodia Over/Under Combination Gun with Swarovski Scope - Serial no. 13689, 12/270 Win gauge, 28 1/4 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Blued Bohler steel barrels with beaded blade front and flip-up rear sights and engraved German claw mounts holding a Swarovski Habicht 6x42mm Nova scope on the matted solid rib, import mark under the forend, and 1965 dated Austrian proofs. The shotgun barrel has a 2 3/4” chamber and choke constriction of .035 inches. The coin finished action shows a running roe buck on the left, a running hare on the right, and silver inlaid “GA” on the triggerguard
all surrounded by scroll. The gun features bushed firing pins, double trigger, and automatic tang safety. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, chamois engraved cartridge trap, black grip cap, and rubber recoil pad. Length of pull 14 1/8 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 12 oz. with scope.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% original blue finish, 95% original coin finish, some discoloration/rubbing on the action, and minor handling evidence. The wood is very good with some chipping at the rear stock head, tiny crack off the upper tang, and overall sharp checkering. The scope optics are clear. Mechanically excellent. Factory Game Scene Engraved G. Fuch 10 Gauge/.22 Rem. Jet Drilling - Serial no. 4038.65, 10/10/22 Rem Jet gauge, 26 1/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with blade front and flip-up rear sights on the matted solid rib which is marked “G. Fuch-Ferlach-Austria”, 3 1/2 inch shotgun chambers, single extractor, “.22 REM. JET” marked on the rifle barrel, and choke constrictions of .044/.046 inches. The coin finished bolstered action displays a roe buck and doe on the left and a pair of geese on the right, both in their respective habitats, and featuring double triggers (front is a single set, bushed firing pins, tang mounted barrel selector, and Greener style safety. Nicely figured, skip-line checkered forend and pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, black grip cap, and Pachmayr recoil pad. Length of pull 14 7/16 inches. Weight 9 lbs. 1 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence and some minor oil discoloration on the action. The wood is very good and shows some scattered dings and dents and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,500
LOT 1478 Factory Engraved Simson Boxlock Over/Under Combination Gun - Serial no. 245509, 12x7x57R gauge, 23 3/4 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1964. Blued Spezial-Gewehrlaufstahl barrels with beaded blade front and flip up rear sights on the matted solid rib marked “SIMSON, SUHL (THURINGEN)”, 70 mm (2 3/4 inch) chamber with extractor, choke constriction of .044 inches (full). The shotgun barrel currently contains a rifled insert for an unknown 6 mm cartridge. The casehardened, scalloped boxlock action features light scroll engraving with a mallard on the underside and line borders, bushed rifle firing pin, double triggers, and automatic tang safety. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered, three-piece walnut forend with engraved fittings and Deeley latch release and pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and hard rubber grip cap and buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 11/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/2 inch drop at heel; 14 3/4 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 9 oz. and 97% original case colors with minor handling evidence. The wood is very fine with a few small dings and scratches and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750
LOT 1479 Factory Game Scene Engraved Franz Roman Schmid Over/Under Combination Gun with Scope - Serial no. 49468, 16/7mm gauge, 23 3/4 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Blued Bohler steel barrels with a ramped beaded blade front sight, fixed rear sight, and German claw mounts holding an Akah Zielfernrohr 6x42/49 scope on the matted solid rib. The shotgun barrel has a 2 3/4 inch chamber and constriction of .027 inches. Rifle barrel marked “7x65R”. The bolstered coin finished action displays a stag and hind on the left, a roe buck and two does on the right, and a capercallie on the underside. The gun features double triggers (front is a single set), bushed firing pins, and a tang mounted safety. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock. Length of pull 14 7/16 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 14 oz. with scope. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 98% original blue and coin finishes, some very minor pitting on the upper barrel, scattered minor spotting on the action, and light handling evidence. The wood is very good with numerous dings and scratches concentrate on the left stock flat and overall sharp checkering. Scope optics are clear. Mechanically excellent.
