Exceptional Framed “Tribute To a Dog” Remington Advertisement by Lynn Bogue Hunt - , N/A. This vintage Remington advertisement depicts an old man in a chair giving his pack of hounds praise after a good day’s hunt. The man’s hunting hat and jacket are hanging from a hook on the exterior of his house next to the door. Behind him on the window sill is a crate for Remington UMC Nitro Express 12 gauge game loads being used as a flower box. A poster on the man’s door contains an excerpt from an address by Senator George G. Vest titled “Tribute to a Dog”. The lower right corner is signed by the artist Lynn Bogue Hunt. The advertisement is housed in a professionally mounted quarter sawn oak frame measuring 22 1/2x29 inches.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine with a few storage and handling marks as well as some horizontal creases/ folds visible in the advertisement.

The lower left corner of the illustration has the artists signature and the right has the Lefever Arms Co. copyright. Above the artwork is the tag line “Who ever saw a broken Lefever?” The space below the artwork reads “LEFEVER GUNS/ Double Barrel $28.25/Single Barrel $16.00. The advertisement is housed in a professionally made quarter sawn oak frame measuring 23 3/4x35 1/4 inches.
CONDITION: Very fine overall with a few minor storage and handling marks, some minor horizontal folds/creasing visible on the advertisement/image with vivid coloration. This would make a wonderful wall decoration for any American shotgun collection!
