One of the most famous submachine guns in the world, the MP5 has been a go-to military and police weapon for decades, giving users full automatic firepower and closed bolt accuracy. Post front and 4-position drum rear sight, with a textured forearm and pistol grip, and a two-position telescoping buttstock. The receiver is in the traditional “shelf ” pattern for semi-auto HKs, with the “MP5” nomenclature added to the top. The trigger housing is fit with a right handed safety, with “0/1/A” markings, and the semi-automatic bolt carrier has been welded up for proper engagement with the auto sear. Included with the grouping is a steel drum magazine with a nylon belt pouch and three extra stick magazines in a leather 3-cell pouch. CONDITION: Excellent as upgraded to full auto, with 98% of the
black finish, showing some light handling marks overall. The furniture is in equal condition. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 30,000 - 45,000
The bolt carrier is numbered to match the receiver, and the standard markings are present on the stock assembly. With the hammer pack installed, the trigger operates in a staged selective mode, with a short pull firing a single shot and a long pull firing in full automatic. Also included are four extra magazines, sling, papers and cleaning tools.
CONDITION: Excellent as upgraded to full auto, with 97% plus black finish, showing some light scratches and handling marks overall. The optics are crisp, with a strong reticle. Mechanically excellent.
