Fleming Firearms/Heckler &
Koch MP5K Submachine Gun,
Class III/NFA Fully Transferable Machine
Gun, with Extra Magazine - Serial no. 9046,
9 mm cal., 5 inch round bbl., black finish, plastic grips. Originally manufactured in 1986 in Germany
and imported by HK of Chantilly as a HK94 carbine, then converted to a MP5K style submachine
gun by Fleming Firearms, which involved shortening the overall length and installing a sling swivel
endcap and a shelf-compatible three position trigger pack. In terms of the timing, this item would fall among the last fully transferable machine guns manufactured in the United States prior to the Hughes Amendment going into effect. The barrel band and scope block guide have been cut and serrated for form fixed blade and notch sights, with the top of the receiver marked “MP5K HK A1”, “9046” and “IG(antler)” and the right side under the trigger housing bearing the Fleming markings. Reinforcing blocks have been added to the stock rails, with a function paddle lever on the mag catch, vertical forearm grip with handstop, and textured pistol grip with “S/E/F” selector markings. An extra magazine is included.
CONDITION: Very fine as upgraded to full auto, with 98% plus black finish, showing some light scratches and handling marks. The furniture is in equal condition. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
