post-war Single Action Armies per Don Wilkerson’s “Colt Single Action Revolver Handbook 1955-1975”. Fitted with fixed blade front and frame notch rear sights as
well as matching serial number on frame, trigger guard, backstrap, cylinder (“183”), and matching assembly number on the loading gate and frame. Includes Colt
original black box.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue finish and vivid case colors with some extremely
light edge wear visible at the muzzle, cylinder drag lines, and a few spots of minor discoloration on the hammer. Box is very fine. Revolver - Serial no. 35939SA, 38 Special cal., 5 1/2 inch
round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips.
Manufactured in 1962 with standard markings and features.
Matching serial numbers are found on the frame, trigger guard, back
strap, and partial matching number “939” is on the front cylinder
face. The loading gate is marked with
the assembly number “163”. Includes a
factory style box (bottom half only) hand
numbered to the gun.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 98% plus
of the original blue and casehardened
finishes with the a few scattered light
handling marks and some very light edge
wear. The grips are excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The lower half of the box (see above) is fair with extensive wear and some tearing.

cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened
finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1956, the first full year of
production. Fitted with blade front and frame notch rear sights. Matching
serial numbers are found on the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. The loading
gate and front cylinder face are marked with the assembly number “73”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus original blue finish and case colors
with a few minor handling marks, a faint cylinder line, some scattered specks of oxidation most noticeable on the recoil shield. The grips are excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Army with Original Black Box and Factory Letter - Serial no. 12715SA,
45 LC cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, smooth grips. The included factory letter lists this revolver as having a 5 1/2 inch barrel chambered in .45 caliber with blue finish and grips not listed when shipped
o International Merchandise Company in Detroit, Michigan, on July 10,
1957. Fitted with blade front and notch rear sights. Matching serial numbers
are found on the frame, triggerguard, and backstrap. The front cylinder face, frame, and loading gate have the assembly number “540.”. Includes the original Colt black box.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retaining 97% original blue finish with some muzzle wear, surface rust visible on the gripstraps, spotting on the top strap, and an extremely faint partial cylinder drag line. The period replacement grips have a few stress lines at the bottom and an attractive coloration. Box is fine.

sights. Matching serial numbers are found on the frame, triggerguard, and backstrap with partial serial number inside each grip panel and on the front cylinder face. Assembly number “116” is marked inside the loading gate. Includes a Colt “stagecoach” box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue finish and 99% original case colors with a few minor handling marks, some light dark oxidation is visible on the rear left frame at the gripstrap junction, and a light partial cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. Box is fine with a torn corner.
