LOT 3544 Factory Game Scene Engraved Franz Sodia Boxlock Drilling - Serial no. 22545, 12/270 Win gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/grey finish, walnut stock. Blued Bohler Super Blitz steel barrels with a beaded blade front sight and flip-up rear sight on the matted solid rib which is marked “FRANZ SODIA FERLACH”, light engraving around the breeches, and 1979 dated Austrian proofs. The shogun barrels have chambers proved at 3 inches and chokes measuring .024/.036 inches. LOT 3545 Factory Engraved Colt-Sauer Model 3000 Drilling with Box - Serial no. GG9825, 12/12/.30-06 gauge, 25 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1982. Blade front and flip-up notch rear sights on the matted solid rib, standard maker and model markings, 2 3/4 inch chambers with extractors, light engraving around the breech, and modified/full marked chokes. Coin gray receiver is engraved with forested game scenes on either side showing a running deer on the left and a standing stag on the right, and features cocking indicators, dual triggers, tang mounted selector switch, and Greener safety. Checkered beavertail forearm with engraved fittings and Deeley latch release and pistol grip stock with ventilated recoil

.037 inches. The coin finished action displays a red stag and two hinds in forested scene on the left and a roe buck with two does in a forest on the right
with the balance engraved with scrollwork. The gun features double triggers (front is a single set), bushed firing pins, side mounted barrel selector, and manual tang safety. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, horn grip cap, and rubber recoil pad. Length of pull 13 3/4 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 10 oz. with scope. CONDITION: Very good, showing 70% original blue finish and 95% plus original coin finish with scattered minor spotting, areas of slight discoloration in the coin, and overall light-mild handling evidence. The wrist has a small crack on both sides, otherwise the wood is very fine with a few small marks and sharp checkering. Scope optics are sharp. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 5,000 - 8,000
