Factory Game Scene Engraved O. Wilks Safety Fire Arms Over/Under Combination Gun with Scope - Serial no. 1373, 16/7.6 cal., 28 3/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued Krupp steel barrels with a beaded blade front sight, flip-up rear sight, and German claw mounts holding a Zeiss Zielvier scope on the matted solid rib. The 16 gauge shotgun barrel has a 2 3/4 inch chamber and choke constriction of .030. The rifle barrel is marked with the caliber “7.6”. The bolstered casehardened action displays a trio of mallards on the left and a covey of quail of the right, both surrounded by scroll engraving. The gun features double trigger (front is a single set) and interesting dual manual cocking pieces on the tang. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved
fittings and pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and horn grip cap and buttplate. Length of pull 14 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 1 oz. with scope.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% original blue finish, strong traces of original case colors, scattered minor spotting, a dent in the barrel rib, and mild handling evidence. The wood is very good a chip at the rear of the receiver, a few dings and scratches, and overall crisp checkering. The scope optics are clear. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,500 - 2,500

Factory Relief Game Scene Engraved Auto Ortlepp Over/ Under Combination Gun - Serial no. 3479, 16x16x6.5x58 R gauge, 26 7/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/grey finish, walnut stock. Blued Krupp steel barrels with a beaded blade front sight, flip-up rear sight, and Krieghoff Montage scope mounting points on the solid matted rib, engraving at either side of the breeches, choke constriction of .029, and 2 1/2 inch chamber with extractors. The grey finished bolstered action displays relief engraved game scenes with a roe buck on the left and a fox on the right both surrounded by leafy scroll. The gun features double triggers (front is a single set), cocking indicators, and a Greener style safety. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece and horn grip cap and buttplate. Length of pull 14 1/4 inches. Weight 6 lbs. 1 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% original blue finish, attractive grey coloration to the receiver, some scattered minor oxidation, and mild handling evidence. The trigger guard has been
broken otherwise the wood is very good with some dings and scratches and mostly well-defined checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,500 - 2,500

Factory Engraved F. R. Weissbach Over/Under Combination Gun with Scope - Serial no. 11293, 16/8x57 cal., 25 5/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued Krupp steel barrels with a white bead sight and claw mounts holding a Hensoldt-Wetlar Dialytan 4x scope, engraving at either side of the breeches, choke constriction of .002, and 3 inch chamber with extractors. The casehardened bolstered action displays floral and scroll engraving and features double triggers (front is a single set) and a tang mounted safety. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with horn grip cap, raised cheekpiece, blank inscription oval, and rubber recoil pad. Length of pull 13 7/8 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 2 oz. with scope. CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 98% original blue finish, 70% original case colors with the balance a darken patina, minor handling evidence, scattered minor spotting, and overall crisp checkering on the forend with well-defined wrist checkering. The scope has clear optics. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,500 - 2,500

CONDITION: Very good, retaining 95% plus original blue finish, 40% original case colors, scattered light oxidation, mild handling evidence, chips at the toe, cheekpiece, and forend, and mostly well-defined checkering on the wood.
