Factory Game Scene Engraved Ludwig Borovnik Over/Under Combination Gun with Scope -
Serial no. 40.2195, 16/30-06 gauge, 25 5/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Blued Bohler steel barrels
with ramped beaded blade front sight, flip-up rear sight, and claw mounts holding a Khales Helia 4M2 scope on the matted solid
rib which is marked “Lud. Borovnik - Ferlach”, 1963 dated Austrian proofs, 2 3/4 inch chamber with extractor, choke constriction of .036 inches. The coin finished sideplated
action displays attractive floral carved bolsters and scroll engraving surrounding a red stag and his harem of three hinds on the left, a group of four chamois in the mountains on the right, and a gold inlaid “TF” monogram on the underside. The gun features bushed firing pins, dual triggers (front is a single set), and a tang mount automatic safety switch. Attractively figured,
oak leaf carved and skip-line checkered three-piece forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with horn grip cap, raised cheekpiece, coin finished mallard scene engraved cartridge trap, gold inscription oval with “TF”, and Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. Length of pull 13 7/8 inches. Weight 6 lbs. 12 oz. (including scope).
CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 97% original blue and coin finishes with light handling evidence, scattered minor spotting, minor rubbing at the muzzle, scattered light dings and scratches, and sharp checkering on the wood. The scope has clear optics. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,000 - 7,000

Factory Engraved and Gold Inlaid Sempert & Krieghoff Sidelock Drilling with Scope - Serial no. 49117, 16/9.3x72R gauge, 26 3/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/ coin/gold finish, walnut stock. Blued Krupp Stahl barrels with beaded blade front and flip-up rear sights
    on the matted solid rib which also holds a set of claw mounts hosting a period 4x scope and is marked
& KRIEGHOFF SUHL” in gold, choke constrictions of .025.034 inches, chambers measured 2 3/4 inches with extractor, and gold bands at the breech.

The coin finished sidelock action displays attractive crosshatching on the top, roe buck on the left and red stag on the right, scrollwork with gold inlaid accents, and gold inlaid
and bordered monogram on the trigger guard. The gun features double triggers (front is single set), sidelock mounted selector, and manual cocking lever for the rifle barrel on the left of the triggers. Attractively figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece, coin cartridge trap with gold bordered roe buck, and
checkered bare butt. Includes a snap cap for each barrel and a leather sling. Length of pull 13 9/16 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 3 oz. with scope and sling.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence. The wood is very fine with slight chipping at the rear of the lockplates, a few scratches and dings, and crisp checkering. Scope optics are clear. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,500

dated German proofs, choke constrictions of .034/040, and 2 1/2 inch chambers with extractor. The coin finished
action displays game scenes on the left and right with oak leaf scroll on the balance. The gun features double triggers (front is a single set), Greener style safety, and tang
mounted selector. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with horn grip cap, raised cheekpiece, cartridge trap, and serrate horn buttplate. Includes snap caps for each barrel and a leather sling. Length of pull 14 1/4 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 11 oz. with scope and sling. CONDITION: Very fine overall, retain 95% original blue with thinning toward the breaches, even finish in the coin, light handling evidence, and some lightly smoothed areas in the overall crisp checkering. Blued Krupp steel barrels with beaded blade front and flip-up rear sights on the matted solid rib, band of engraving at either breech, shotgun chambers measured 2 1/2 inches with extractor, and choke constriction of .040/.036 inches. The casehardened sideclipped action displays scroll engraving
around a pair of roe deer on the left and a pair of fighting red stags on the right and features double triggers (front single set), Greener style safety, and tang
mounted selector. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece and horn grip cap and buttplate. Includes a leather sling. Length of pull 14 1/4 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 4 oz. (with sling). CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% original blue and casehardened finishes with a spot of thinning on the left upper barrel, scattered minor spotting, light handling evidence, a chip on the buttplate toe, and sharp checkering on the stock.
