Interord Corporation USAS-12 Semi-Automatic Shotgun, Class III/NFA Destructive Device, with Extra Magazines - Serial no. A0002219SA, 12 cal., 18 inch round bbl., matte grey finish, synthetic stock. Originally developed in the 1980s, the USAS-12 takes many design cues from Maxwell Atchisson’s 1970s vintage Atchisson Assault Shotgun, being a gas-operated magazine fed shotgun patterned after the M-16/AR-15 family of rifles, in particular arranging the firearm to put the barrel as close in line with the shoulder as possible to diminish felt recoil. First conceived as a military weapon, the design was subjected to slight revision with an eye on the American commercial market. Arriving on American shores in the late 80s and early 90s, the semi-auto USAS-12 soon ran face first into the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives, who used the wording of the National Firearms Act to have the shotgun (along with the cylinder-fed Armsel Striker-12, aka the Street Sweeper) declared a Destructive Device; while shotguns are traditionally given a pass on having a bore greater than a half-inch, this only legally applies to items “generally recognized as particularly suitable for sporting purposes”, with said recognition more or less entirely hinging on the ATF’s opinion on the matter. Elevation adjustable pin front and windage adjustable peep rear sights, with the former in a hooded post and the latter inside an integral carry handle, with a reversible cocking handle and ejector port cover, model and patent markings on the left side of the receiver and the model and gauge markings on the right. The handguard is ribbed and ventilated, with an AR-style trigger group and pistol grip and a fixed plastic buttstock with a ribbed rubber buttplate. Included with the lot are one drum magazine and four stick magazines. CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% plus matte gray finish, showing some light scratches on the barrel and the ejection port covers and minor tool/handling marks overall. The furniture is in equal condition. The drum magazine shows some damage to the rear cover, but appears to still be in working order. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This Destructive Device is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479, National Firearms Act. Estimate: 3,000 - 4,500

S/S Inc. “Street Sweeper” 12 Gauge Semi-Automatic Shotgun, Class III/NFA Destructive Device - Serial no. SH826, 12 cal., 18 inch round bbl., matte black finish, metal stock. Originally designed by Hilton R. Walker in 1981 as the Armsel Striker, the Street Sweeper uses a spring driven alloy cylinder and double action trigger mechanism to provide a semi-auto style rate of fire without restriction on ammo type in a compact package. This would be one of the few 12 gauge shotguns on the domestic market to earn the honor of being declared to lack a “sporting purpose”, making it a Destructive Device under the terms of the National Firearms Act. Broad groove sight in the top of the receiver, with a forward pistol grip and rod ejector on the ventilated heat shield, manufacture markings on the front of the cylinder housing, “S/S” and “Cobray” branding on the plastic trigger housing, a top-folding steel stock, and a padded sling. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches. CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% plus blue/matte black finish, showing light scratches and handling marks overall. The stock is slightly bent. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This Destructive Device is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C.
