Outstanding U.S. Springfield M1D Garand Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle with M84 Scope, CMP Shipping Box and Accessories - Serial no. 1116966, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Originally manufactured in January of 1943
and subsequently arsenal upgraded to the M1D Sniper configuration. Rifles so converted were used as sniper weapons during Korea and the Vietnam War. Blade front and peep rear sights, “DRC” windage drum, “S-A-9-52” marked barrel, “SA” bolt and hammer, “W.R.A.” relief cut operating rod, and “D28290” marked trigger housing. The arsenal replacement stock is stamped “RA” next to an open boxed “SA” cartouche on the left with a circled “P” proofmark on front of the pistol grip. Fitted with a Hart M2 cone flash hider, M84 scope serial numbered “30298”, with a post-and-crosshair reticle, sliding sunshield and a rubber eyepiece. The rifle is accompanied by a CMP shipping box containing sealed accessories including a sling, cleaning tools, pad and a scope case. Also includes a copy of a packing list dated “6/87”, a CMP invoice dated “8/26/97” and a green plastic CMP case. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine as arsenal upgraded to M1D configuration, retains 98% parkerized finish with very light wear from mounting of the flash hider. The stock is very fine with a few light handling marks. Scope is excellent, retains 99% original blue finish on the tube with a few light handling marks and crisp clear optics. Mechanically excellent. Included box is fine. Estimate: 3,000 - 5,000
LOT 1348 U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 Mark I Bolt Action Rifle with Sling - Serial no. 1161969, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. 1920 production with “S.A./flaming bomb/2-20” marked barrel, hooded fixed blade front and folding ladder rear sights with volley notch, and correct Mark I cut-off and Mark I disconnector in the sear. The original and scarce Pedersen recess “S” stock is marked with an “eagle head/Y49” inspection mark on the bottom ahead of the magazine floor plate, “eagle head/Y96” mark on the left side behind the magazine cutoff recess, single circled “P” proof, and has a smooth steel trapdoor
buttplate. The bolt body has a black finish in the same style as seen on Pedersen devices. Includes a dark leather M1907 sling with brass hooks and faint manufacturer markings. CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 95% plus of arsenal parkerized finish with light edge wear and handling marks, along with moderate cycling wear on the bolt body. The stock is also very fine, with minor handling marks, crisp edges and finger grasping groves, well defined stamps, and rich consistent oil finish. The M1907 sling is fine, with moderate cracking while maintaining supple flexibility. Mechanically excellent. A prime accessory for your Pedersen device! Estimate: 2,250 - 3,500

U.S. Winchester M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine with Case - Serial no. 6482374, 30 Carbine cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in early 1945. Features winged blade front and “L.R.CO.” marked adjustable peep rear sight, undated Winchester “W” and “WP” marked barrel, “AI” marked type III barrel band, T1 rotary safety, “M” marked magazine catch, type VI slide, and flat top bolt. Fitted with two rivet
handguard and low wood stock marked “W” in the sling recess, with “crossed cannons” on the right of the butt and boxed “P” on th bottom of the wrist. Magazine absent. Includes oiler, green web sling, along with “U.S.” and “M.D.MFG.CO./1944 marked green canvas carry case CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% plus of arsenal parkerized finish with minor edge wear and handling marks. Danish Contract Beretta M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle with Bayonet - Serial no. P.B.2677, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in Italy on contract for Denmark. Features winged blade front and adjustable peep rear sights with “PB” windage knob. The receiver heel is marked “crown/ FKF” over the serial number. Fitted with a “RSC 1955” marked and “crown/PB” proofed barrel, with a Beretta marked bolt, recoil spring guide, operating rod catch, follower, trigger housing, hammer, safety, and an unmarked relief cut operating rod. The stock is marked “PB/2671” on the left side of the butt, with a checkered steel buttplate and matching Danish range card inside the operating rod channel. Includes an unmarked
green M1 web sling, charging handle cover, and “crown/FKF/1955” marked M1 pattern bayonet with “crown/FKF” marked wood grain scabbard. CONDITION: Very fine, with 85% plus of original parkerized finish retained along with scattered handling marks, edge wear, and light spotting on stock metal. The reoiled stock is very good, with light handling marks and storage wear. Mechanically excellent.

Late World War II U.S. Springfield Armory M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle with Sling - Serial no. 3608137, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Receiver from March 1945 production. Features winged blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, with “8 S A 3 45” marked barrel, “SA” marked bolt, trigger housing, hammer, safety, and uncut flat-side operating rod. The stock is marked with “S.A./N.F.R.” cartouche and “crossed cannon” stamp on the left side, a serifed circled “P” on the wrist, an unnumbered Danish range tag on the inside of the operating rod channel, and a post-war checkered buttplate. It includes a green Danish pattern flat-buckle M1 web sling. CONDITION: Very fine overall, with 90% of arsenal parkerized finish retained with scattered edge wear, handling marks, and light spotting. The stock is fine, showing signs of sanding especially around
