Greco Signed, Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Belgian Browning
20 Gauge Midas Grade Superposed Skeet Shotgun - Serial no. 44742V7, 20 gauge,
26 1/2 inch vent rib bbl., blue/gold finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1967. Dual white
bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard markings, wedges scroll engraving at the breech end, 3 inch
chambers with automatic ejectors, and “**$”/”**$” (skeet/skeet) chokes. The blued action displays full coverage scroll
engraving on punchdot background surrounding game bird scenes showing a trio of pheasant on the left, three mallards
on the right, and a grouse on the underside. The birds are rendered in fine semi-relief gold inlay with gold inlaid borders around
the scenes on the sides of the action. The piece is signed “GRECO” on both sides of the action at the low rear for FN engraver Reno Greco. The triggerguard and tangs are engraved with matching scroll and checker board patterns and a blank initial shield at the center of the
guard. Highly figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and a round knob pistol grip stock with stylized “W/E/S” marked in the gold inscription oval and Browning recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements: bore diameter nine inches from the breech .625/.625 inches; choke constriction .005/.005 inches; minimum
wall thickness .034/.037 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at heel; 14 3/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 7 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and gold finishes with limited handling evidence, a few tiny scratches in the wood finish, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend.
Mechanically excellent.

Outstanding Factory L. Acampo Signed and Engraved Belgian
Browning Diana Grade Superposed Shotgun - Serial no. 8977S69, 12 gauge, 28
inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in Belgium in 1969. 2 3/4” chambers with
automatic ejectors and added screw-in choke system (improved cylinder/skeet installed). Standard barrel markings
and dual bead sights on the matte vent rib. Floral vine engraved action with ducks in a marsh scene on the right side,
pheasants in a wooded scene on the left and two quail on the underside. Signed “LACAMPO” on the lower right side of the receiver.
The triggerguard has two rabbits in a wooded scene with floral vine engraving. Additional floral vine engraving is present on the forearm hardware. Tang mounted manual safety, gold washed single trigger, blue barrels with gray finish on the remaining parts. Mounted with
an extra fancy high gloss finely multi-point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a solid Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 5/8 inches. Improved cylinder/skeet chokes are installed in the shotgun at the present. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the
breech .725/.725 inches; minimum wall thickness .032/.029 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/16 inch drop at heel; 14 9/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 2 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent. The barrels retain 98% original blue finish with some minor wear on the barrels from normal disassembling. The remaining parts retain 99% plus original coin finish.
The wood is also excellent with a few minor dings and handling marks, and overall sharp checkering. The markings and engraving are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
