Ruger AC-556 Selective Fire Rifle, Class III/NFA Fully Transferable Machine Gun - Serial no. 191-09764, 223
cal., 13 inch round bbl., bright finish, hardwood stock. Marketed to law enforcement and foreign military clients, the AC-556 family of weapons is a Mini-14 .223 caliber rifle configured as a factory original selective fire machine gun. Fixed blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, with a bird cage flash hider on the barrel, which is sans bayonet lug. Standard markings on the receiver, with the safety lever set into the front of the trigger guard and a 3-position selector switch (semi/3-round burst/full) on the right side of the receiver heel. The hardwood stock is fitted with a plastic upper handguard and pistol grip, a side folding steel buttstock, and an added quick-detach sling swivel on top behind the receiver heel. CONDITION: Excellent, with bright stainless steel finish, showing some spotting around the gas block and light handling marks overall. The stock shows minor scratches and dings, with a few chips on the front edge of the pistol grip. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. S&H/Fabrique Nationale FNC Sear/Host Combo, Class III/NFA -A) S&H Arms FNC Auto Sear, Class III/NFA Fully Transferable Machine Gun - Serial no. 3178, 223 , bright finish. Manufactured in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this S&H sear unit has been installed in the host gun described in Item B, along with a working set of safe/semi/3-round/full internals. The sear is individually numbered, with the number and the S&H address also applied to the interior of the lower receiver of B. CONDITION: Very fine, showing mild wear and handling. Appears to be in fine working order. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479. B) Fabrique Nationale FNC Host Gun - Serial no. F.N.022824, 223 cal., 18 inch round bbl., matte black finish, synthetic stock. Manufactured in Belgium as a semi-automatic with dual Steyr/Gun South import markings, this FNC rifle currently hosts the auto sear described in Item A.
Developed in the 1970s as a competitor to the American M16, the FNC would be adopted by multiple nations as the successor to FNs own FAL rifle at the tail end of the Cold War, and still serves as the main-line infantry rifle for multiple NATO and non-NATO nations. Elevation adjustable post front and 2-leaf windage adjustable peep rear sights, with a ported flash hider and sling swivel on the barrel, flip-up grenade sight on the gas block, ribbed and ventilated metal and plastic forearm, smooth pistol grip, and a fixed plastic buttstock. The lower receiver is fitted with a right handed selector switch with “S/1/3/A” markings, and the bolt carrier is a semi-automatic unit modified to engage the sear.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% of the black finish, showing some light wear and handling marks overall. The furniture is in equal condition. Mechanically excellent.
