Factory Game Scene Engraved Colt- Sauer Model 3000 Drilling - Serial no. GG9089, 12/30-06 gauge, 25 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1976. Blade front and flip-up notch rear sights on the matted solid rib, standard maker and model markings, 2 3/4 inch chambers with extractors, light engraving around the breech, and modified/full marked chokes. Coin gray receiver is engraved with forested game scenes on either side showing a running deer on the left and a standing stag on the right,
and features cocking indicators, dual triggers (front is a single set), tang mounted selector switch, and Greener style safety. Checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings and Deeley latch release and pistol grip stock with ventilated recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 7/16 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 13 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,000 - 6,000

Factory Engraved Gebruder Merkel Boxlock Drilling with Zeiss Scope and Case - Serial no. 982922, 12/243 Win gauge, 24 7/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued Special Gewehr Laufstahl barrels with beaded blade front and flip up rear sights on the matted solid rib which also hosts a set of German style claw scope mounts holding a Zeiss ZF4 scope, 1977 dated German proofs, dual bands of
engraving at the upper breeches, choke constrictions of .036/.045 inches, and 2 3/4 inch shotgun chambers with extractors. Rifle barrel marked “6,2 x 52” which is a European designation for .243 Winchester. The casehardened action displays a light scroll engraving and features double triggers, cocking indicators, a Greener style safety, and tang mounted selector.
Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with black grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, and black plastic buttplate. Includes a leather mutton leg
takedown case. Length of pull 14 1/4 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 10 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and casehardened finishes with some scattered minor handling evidence, protective varnish on the barrels near the wood, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Factory Engraved Gebruder Merkel Drilling with Zeiss Scope - Serial no. 352419, 20/22 hornet gauge, 23 5/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued Special Gewehr Laufstahl barrels with blade front and flip up rear sights on the matted solid rib which also hosts a set of German style claw scope mounts holding a Zeiss Diavari C 3-9x36mm MC scope, 2000 dated German proofs, dual bands of engraving at the upper breeches, chokes marked modified/full, and 2 3/4 inch shotgun chambers with extractors. The casehardened
action displays a light scroll engraving and features double triggers, cocking indicators, and tang mounted safety/selector. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with black grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, and factory buttplate. Length of pull 14 3/8 inches. Weight 9 lbs. (including scope).
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and casehardened finishes with minimal minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Scope optics are sharp.

The casehardened action displays light scroll engraving and features double triggers, cocking indicators, and tang mounted safety/selector. Attractively figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with black grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece,
and black plastic buttplate. Length of pull 14 7/16 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 9 oz.

Blued steel barrels with a beaded blade front and flip-up rear sights on the matted solid rib, 2 3/4 inch shotgun chambers with single extractor, 1953 dated Austrian proofs, and choke constrictions of .034/.033 inches. The coin finished bolstered action displays a roaring red stag on the left, a chamois on the right, and a capercallie on the underside, and features double triggers (front is a single set), bushed firing pins, tang mounted barrel selector, and Greener style safety. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with
cheekpiece, steel grip cap with “JSM” monogram, and a horn buttplate. Includes a leather sling and muzzle cap. Length of pull 14 1/8 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 3 oz. CONDITION: Very good, retaining 90% plus original blue finish, 95% original coin finish, some scattered minor spotting, and some rubbing on the left barrel. There is a small crack on the left of the stock
