Factory Engraved Belgian Browning 28 Gauge Superposed Grade I Shotgun - Serial no. 3226F70, 28 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1970. Dual white bead sights on the matte, vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, standard markings and Belgian proofs, and chokes marked “**”/”*” (modified/full) but have been honed. Standard Grade I light floral scroll engraving on the receiver with a gold washed single trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with Browning buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): Bore diameter nine inches from the breech .546/.548 inches; choke constriction .001/.002 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs 7 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% original blue finish with limited handling evidence and some grease residue. There is a tiny chip at the toe, otherwise the wood is
very fine with some scattered minor handling marks, some varnish crazing, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,000 - 5,000

Sophie Purgal Signed Factory Engraved Belgian Browning B125 Over/Under 20 Gauge Shotgun with Box - Serial no. 242NM16421, 20 gauge, 26 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1990. Blued steel barrels with single steel bead sight on the matted ventilated rib with 2 3/4 inch
chambers with ejectors, and Invector choke tube system (modified/full currently installed). Coin action displaying “B” style consisting of quail scenes on both sides and a hound on the bottom with flourishes of floral scroll engraving, oak leaf engraved fences, engraved top lever, and selective safety. The lower left side is signed “S. PURGAL” for FN Master Engraver Sophie Purgal. Mounted on a
nicely contrasting multipoint checkered Schnabel tip forend and straight grip walnut stock with engraved fittings and Browning buttplate. Includes original box, a choke wrench, and two extra choke tubes (improved modified and improved cylinder). Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore 9 inches from the breech .622/.621 inches; minimum wall thickness .033/.032 inches; drop at the comb 1 9/16 inches; drop at the heel 2 5/16 inches; length of pull 14 1/16 inches; weight 6 lbs. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and coin finishes with limited handling marks, crisp engraving, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Factory Engraved and Gold Inlaid Browning Citori Grade VI Over/Under Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 26526NW653, 12 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin/gold finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1994. Single steel bead sight on the matted vent rib, Invector Plus choke system (modified/ full installed), and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin finished action displays floral scroll engraving surrounding four gold inlaid game scenes which include a pair of pheasants on the left, a trio of mallards on the right, a setter on the underside, and a quail on the trigger guard. Gold single trigger and a tang mounted safety/ selector. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with ventilated Browning recoil pad. Includes a Browning takedown case, cleaning supplies and an extra choke (improved cylinder). Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 7/16 inch drop at heel; 14 3/8 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs 7 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue, gold, and coin finishes, a few minor handling marks mostly on the wood, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The lower barrel retains the factory warning label. The case is very fine. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,750 - 4,250
LOT 499 Factory Engraved Belgian Browning .410 Bore Superposed Grade I Shotgun - Serial no. 1291J6, 410 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1966. Blued Special Steel barrels with single steel bead sight on the matted vent rib, standard markings, 3 inch chambers with ejectors, and chokes marked “**-”/”**” (improved cylinder/modified). Standard Grade I floral scroll engraving on the blued receiver which features a single gold trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Multi-point checkered, walnut forend and pistol grip stock with Browning buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs 3 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% original blue finish with much of the lose/thinning on the underside of the action and some minor handling evidence. The wood is very good with a few scattered dings and scratches, varnish crazing on the stock head, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,500
LOT 500 Factory Engraved Belgian Browning Superposed Grade I Shotgun - Serial no. 9663S3, 12 gauge, 26 1/2 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1963. Blued Special Steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard markings, chokes marked “**-”/”**” (improved cylinder/modified), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The blued boxlock action features Grade I floral scroll engraving, initials “RNS” inscribed on the lower tang, a single gold trigger, and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend and round knob pistol grip stock with Browning ventilated recoil pad. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 3/8 inch drop at heel; 14 3/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. CONDITION: Very good, the barrels retain 95% original blue finish and 40% original blue on the action, otherwise a smooth gray patina with scattered handling marks, and crisp engraving. Wood is fine with scattered dings and scratches, a hairline stress crack on the forearm right side, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
