right, and a grouse on the underside. The birds are rendered in fine semi-relief gold inlay with gold inlaid borders around the scenes on the sides of the action. The piece is signed “ABEE” on both sides of the action at the low rear. There is a faint
marking below the finish on the left side of the action which appears to read “1984 OFFC”. The triggerguard and tangs are engraved with matching scroll and checker board patterns and a blank initial shield at the center of the guard. Beautiful feather crotch figured,
multi-point checkered Schnabel tip forend with engraved fittings and a straight grip stock with Browning buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements: bore diameter nine inches from the breech .624/.622 inches; choke constriction .006/.013 inches; minimum wall
thickness .029/.032 inches; 1 5/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at heel; 14 3/8 inch length of pull; weight 5 lbs. 11 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue and gold finishes with limited handling evidence. There is a small area of varnish cracking at the left right side, otherwise, the wood is very fine with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Browning 20 Gauge Superposed Diana Grade
Skeet Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 60815V70, 20 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish,
walnut stock. Manufactured in 1970. Blued Special Steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard Browning markings, chokes marked “**$”/”**$” (skeet/skeet), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin grey receiver is engraved in the Diana Grade pattern with flowing scroll designs surrounding three game scenes depicting four mallards in a marsh on the right, a covey of pheasant in a wooded scene on the left, and pair of quail on the underside with an additional scene showing a pair of
rabbits on the triggerguard. The action is signed “A.MARECHAL” on the left side beneath the game scene for Master Engraver Alfonse Marechal. The gun features a single gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch with gold inlaid “U”, “O”, and “S”. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with Browning ventilated rubber recoil pad. Includes a Browning factory takedown case (model hand marked in silver ink on a short end) and a pair of snap caps. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech measured at .623/.622 inches; choke constriction .005/.004 inches; minimum wall thickness .032/.034 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 1 13/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 11 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes, slight rub ahead of the forend and a tiny patch of light pitting towards the muzzle on the lower barrel, some scattered minor handling evidence, and sharp checkering in the forend and stock. The case is excellent. Mechanically excellent.
