full coverage beautiful deep cut floral scroll engraving surrounding two semi-relief
gold inlaid animals. The left hand side shows a majestic bugling red stag and the
right side depicts a snarling European boar. The stag is faintly signed at its should “L.ERNST” for factory Master Engraver Lucien Ernst. The gun features a single trigger and a tang mounted safety/selector switch with gold inlaid “O”, “U”, and “S”. Beautiful, feather crotch figured Schnabel tip forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with Browning buttplate. Length of pull 14 1/16 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 4 oz. (scope included).
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% plus original blue finish and 99% original gold and coin, with some patches of light spotting, some
areas of light discoloration in the coin, and overall light handling evidence. There are a couple stress lines at both tangs and the rear of the
forend, otherwise, the wood is fine with some gaps in the wood to metal fit and crisp checkering. The scope optics are sharp. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 12,000 - 18,000

Manufactured in 1967. Dual white bead sights on the matte vent rib barrels with standard markings, light scroll engraving at the breech end, 3 inch chambers with ejectors, and skeet/skeet chokes. The action
is a fine blue finish with full coverage scroll engraving on punch dot background surrounding game bird scenes of a trio of pheasant on the left, three mallards on the right, and a quail on the underside. The birds are rendered in fine semi-relief gold inlay with gold inlaid borders. The receiver is signed
“R.COENEN” on both sides of the action at the low rear. The triggerguard and tangs are engraved with matching scroll and checker board patterns and a blank initial shield at the center of the guard. Highly
figured fancy grade walnut target forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with ventilated Browning recoil pad. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 14 9/16 inches; weight 7 lbs. 1 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue and gold finishes with limited minor handling evidence. There is a tiny varnish flake on the left of the stock head and a stress line off the lower tang, otherwise, the wood is excellent with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 11,000 - 17,000
