Ruger AC-556 Selective Fire Rifle, Class III/NFA Fully Transferable Machine Gun - Serial no. 191-05005, 223 cal., 13 inch round bbl., blue finish, metal stock. Marketed to law enforcement and foreign military clients, the AC-556 family of weapons is the Mini-14 223 caliber rifle configured as a factory original selective fire machine gun. Fitted with a birdcage flash hider, blade and adjustable peep sights. The number “24581-40” has been added to the left side of the receiver; this may be an inventory code from a previous individual or organization that owned the rifle, and another AC-556 in this sale has both the following inventory number and original serial number, suggesting they were ordered and delivered as a pair or as part of a larger sequential order. The selector switch is positioned on the right rear of the receiver, with positions for semi-automatic, three round burst, and fully automatic. Smooth hardwood stock, with vented synthetic upper cover, checkered pistol grip, black web sling and folding metal buttstock. Consecutively serial numbered to the following lot. CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% plus original blue finish, showing mild handling marks overall. The stock is also excellent, with some minor dings. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C.
