Factory Engraved Dumoulin Safari Model Bolt Action Rifle in .375 H&H Magnum - Serial no. 12247, 375 H&H
magnum cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued barrel with hooded ramped beaded blade front sight,
two position (one standing, one folding) rear sight, and “H. DUMOULIN & FILS-MILMORT-LIEGE-MADE IN BELGIUM” marking. The rare
casehardened action displays attractive full coverage floral scroll engraving over a matted background. The bottom metal and floorplate show the same
highly detailed engraving along with the recoil lugs. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with contrasting forend tip, engraved casehardened trapdoor
grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and brown rubber Pachmayr Old English recoil pad.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue and 99% original case colors, some scratching and finish lose on the front sight ramp, otherwise, limited handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock. Mechanically excellent.

ever since. The blued barrel is absent of sights, and is fitted with a central barrel band with sling loop and scope mounts topped off with a Leupold VX-III 3.5-10x40mm scope. It is marked “ALFRED SCHILLING” on top of the barrel, “Cal. .17 HMR” on the left of the chamber, and with the importer information on the right of the chamber. The action displays the signature fiery Schilling case colors as well as light floral gold inlaid borders. Mounted in a lightly figured, fleur-de-lis checkered walnut Schnabel tip forearm with Ebony cap and pistol grip stock with shadowline cheekpiece and blued Neidner buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with minimal handling marks and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with clear optics and a crisp reticle.
