Factory Master Engraved Colt Third Generation Single Action Army Revolver Made for the Deadwood 2nd Annual Old West Auction with Carved Grip, Holster Rig, Factory Letter, and Display Case - Serial no. 1876DWD, 45 Long Colt cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, carved grips. The included factory letter lists this revolver by special serial number with a 5 1/2 inch barrel chambered in .45 Colt, blue and case color finish with fire blue cylinder pin, ejector rod head, and screws, carved grip with material confirmed executed by Steve Kamyk, and class “B” engraving executed by Colt Master Engravers Steve Kamyk and George Spring when shipped to The City of Deadwood Second Annual Firearms and Old West Auction and Show on June 21, 2009. The letter goes on to remark that the revolver was specially produced as a donation to benefit the Days of 76 Historic Museum. Includes factory letter, a copy of “Seth Bullock Black Hills Lawman by David A. Wolff, a copy of the auction catalog, original shipping box, Colt blue box, tooled leather “Days of 76” holster and belt, and a display case featuring a rotating pedestal. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks and crisp engraving and grip carving. Mechanically excellent. Case and holster are both excellent with minimal storage and handling marks. Box is very fine with light storage and handling marks.
