    Factory Letter - Serial no. S61840A, 45 Long Colt cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, original grips. The
included factory letter lists this revolver as having a 7 1/2 inch
barrel chambered in .45 Colt with full royal blue finish and gold
screws, confirms the grip material as well as scrimshaw bust of
Wild Bill Hickok on the right and the Dead Man’s Hand on the left,
class “C” scroll engraving including the front sight, gold bands at
the muzzle and rear of the barrel which extend onto the ejector
housing, gold inlaid bands at the rear of the cylinder, “Wild Bill
Hickok” inscription on the back strap, gold inlaid card suits, and
“1876” inscribed on the butt executed by Colt Master Engraver
Steve Kamyk. The factory letter also confirms this revolver was produced as a donation to benefit The Days of ‘76 Historic Museum and was auctioned at the City of Deadwood Fourth Annual Firearms & Old West Auction & Show on June 19, 2011. Includes original shipping box and Colt Custom Shop blue box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. Single Action Army Revolver Made for the 3rd Annual Deadwood Old West
Auction with Scrimshawed Grips, Box and Factory Letter - Serial no. SB1876, 45 LC cal., 3 inch round bbl., nickel finish,
original grips. The included factory letter confirms the current
barrel length, caliber, and finish as well as the one-piece grip with
scrimshaw showing a sheriff’s badge on the left and a bust of Deadwood, SD’s first sheriff, Seth Bullock and the factory Class B engraving. The letter also states the scrimshaw was done by Master Engraved Steve Kamyk and that the gun was built for the third annual Firearms & Old West Auction & Show in Deadwood, SD, June 19-20, 2010. Includes original shipping box and Colt blue box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original nickel and nitre blue finishes with limited handling evidence. The boxes are very fine/excellent. Mechanically excellent.
