Exceptional World War II German Mauser
“1939” Date “42” Code Luger Semi-
Automatic Pistol with Two Matching
Magazines, Holster, and U.S. Capture Certificate -
Serial no. 5965x, 9 mm cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish,
checkered walnut grips. Manufactured in 1939. Features
fixed blade front and notch rear sights, the “1939” date
on top of the chamber, the “42” manufacturer code on the
toggle link, “eagle/655” military proofs on the extension
and barrel, and “eagle/swastika” firing proofs on the barrel,
extension, and breech block. Matching serial numbers on
the frame, barrel and extension, along with matching visible
“65” partial serial numbers on small parts. Fitted with a
pair of checkered walnut grips and a blued magazine with
matching numbered and “eagle/655” proofed alloy base.
Includes a “crown/I.” proofed brown leather flap holster with
“HOLST” written on the takedown tool pouch in pencil and a
piece of cloth tape on the back marked “HOMAN/35232420”,
a takedown tool, and an extra blued magazine with
matching numbered, “+” marked, and
“eagle/655” proofed alloy base. Also included
is a “AG USFET Form No 33” capture certificate
from the European Theater of Operations
(ETO), dated September 18, 1945, listing
this pistol by serial number as the trophy of William
Earl Homan (1912-2007, resident of Alliance, Ohio) who
served with the 552nd Military Police Company, along with a U.S.
War Department change of address slip.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with
some light holster wear, some minor thinning on the frame with
smooth grey patina on the balance, along with clear markings. The
grips are exceptionally fine with a few minor handling marks in the
crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very good with some cracking at the
base of the muzzle pocket and supple leather. Overall an attractive example of a World War II era
German “1939” date and “42” code Mauser Luger pistol with a holster, two matching magazines,
and a matching U.S. capture certificate!

Exceptional World War I Era Imperial German Unit Marked First Year
Production “1914” Dated DWM Model 1914 Artillery Luger Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 1015, 9 mm Luger cal., 7 7/8 inch round bbl.,
blue/straw finish, checkered walnut grips. Manufactured in 1914, the first year
of production for the Model 1914 Artillery Luger. Features fixed blade front and
adjustable tangent rear (graduated from 100 to 800 meters) sights, the “1914” date on top of the
barrel extension, the “DWM” manufacturer monogram on top of the toggle link, “crown/Gothic letter”
military proofs on the right side of the barrel extension, along with imperial eagle firing proofs on the
barrel, barrel extension, and breech block. The front strap is marked with an Imperial German Army unit
mark “R.A.R.51.5.B.61.” Matching full military pattern serial numbers (without a suffix) on the frame, barrel, and
barrel extension, along with matching “15” partial serial numbers visible on small parts. Fitted with
a pair of checkered walnut grips and a nickel plated magazine with un-numbered and
“crown/Gothic letter” proofed walnut base.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retaining 90% original blue finish and 85% plus original straw colors
with some minor edge wear, a few minor specks of
freckling, grey patina around the unit mark
on the front strap, minor handling marks,
along with bright and crisp markings.
The grips are excellent with some minor
compression marks in the well defined
checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Excellent World War II Era German Commercially Proofed Walther PPK Semi-Automatic
Pistol with Duralumin Frame, Stainless Barrel, and Original Box - Serial no. 263991K, 7.65
mm auto cal., 3 1/4 inch round bbl., blue/black anodized finish, plastic grips. Manufactured in
1940. Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights on a matted rib, commercial “eagle/N”
proofs marked on the right side of the slide and scarce “- Nichtrostend -“ (stainless) marked
bright barrel, Walther “banner”, address, caliber, and model designation marked on the left of
the slide, a 60-degree throw safety lever, and the serial number marked vertically on the right
of the Duralumin alloy frame. Fitted with a checkered brown/black plastic Walther “banner”
marked wrap-around one-piece plastic grip and a Walther “banner” marked blued magazine
with a brown/black plastic grip extension on the base. Includes an original Walther “woodgrain”
PPK box with matching numbered factory label, an extra magazine, four dummy cartridges,
cleaning rod, and a Walther “banner” marked cleaning kit tin.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% original blue and black anodized finishes with plum
coloration to the slide and trigger guard, some minor cycling wear, a few minor handling
marks, along with bright and crisp markings. The grip is also excellent with crisp checkering
and attractive composite patterning. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine with some
light edge wear. Overall a very attractive example of a World War II era commercially proofed
Walther PPK pistol with a Duralumin frame and the original box!
