Upgraded Engraved Parker Brothers “AAH” Grade Double Barrel Shotgun -
Serial no. 190632, 12 gauge, 30 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut
stock. Manufactured in 1920 and subsequently upgraded to the current AAH Grade
configuration by an unknown, but highly skilled, craftsman. The gun has dual white
bead sights on the matted concave solid rib which is
marked “PIGEON GUN PARKER BROS. MAKERS MERIDEN
CONN, WHITWORTH STEEL” over the original marking, light
engraving at the breech, chokes marked full/modified, and
2 3/4 inch chambers with a single extractor. The barrels are
fitted to the casehardened action which features fences with
double beads and hand cut fancy “Parker Bros.” marking on
the underside all surrounded by near full coverage intricate
floral scroll engraving extending onto the toplever, trigger
guard, and both tangs. The gun features a gold single
selective trigger and a tang mounted manual safety. The
gun is fitted with a beautifully figured and fancy checkered
beavertail forend with engraved casehardened iron and a
pistol grip stock with fleur-de-lis carved drop point, a factory
hard rubber grip cap, a blank gold inscription oval, and a
Hawkins recoil pad.

Upgraded Engraved and Gold Inlaid
Remington Model 1894 Double Barrel
Shotgun - Serial no. 120172, 12 gauge, 28 inch
solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened/gold finish,
walnut stock. Manufactured in 1900 according to
Charles Semmer’s “Remington Double Shotguns”
and subsequently upgraded/embellished to the
current high grade configuration later in the 20th
century. The gun has blued steel barrels featuring
a single bead sight on the matted flat solid rib,
“REMINGTON ARMS Co.” and “ILION.. N.Y. U.S.A./
ORDNANCE.” marked on the right and left tube
respectively, light engraving at the breech, and 2
3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The
barrels are fitted to the casehardened boxlock
action displaying near full coverage scroll
engraving surrounding “REMINGTON ARMS CO.”
on either side along with a trio of relief gold inlaid
game scenes . The game scenes depict a trio of
ducks on the left, a retriever with a woodcock in
his mouth on the underside, and trio of quail on
the right preparing to flush.
