Parker Brothers VHE Grade Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 240553, 12 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. This late production gun was
built with blued steel barrels featuring a single bead sight on the matted concave solid rib which is marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. VULCAN. STEEL”, 1937
dated barrels, choke constrictions of .035/.035 inches, and chambers measured 2 3/4 inches with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a casehardened boxlock action which displays the
standard Grade V zig-zag border engraving with “PARKER” marked on the underside and features double triggers and a tang mounted automatic safety. The gun is fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-
point checkered splinter forend as well as a pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, blank silver inscription shield, and a Jostam recoil pad. The current configuration is confirmed on page 604 of “Parker Gun
Identification & Serialization” by Price and Fjestad. Stock measurements: 1 7/8 inch drop at comb; 2 5/8 inch drop at heel; 14 13/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 2 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% plus original blue finish, 70% original case colors, dome dings at the left breech, overall light handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the refinished stock and fine original
forend. Mechanically excellent.

L. C. Smith/Hunter Arms Co. 20 Gauge Field Grade Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. FW119058, 20 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1928. The gun was built with blued Armor Steel barrels featuring a single bead sight on the matted concave solid rib, “L.C. SMITH Field GRADE” and “HUNTER ARMS
CO. INC. M.F.R.S. FULTON. N.Y., U.S.A.” marked on the right and left tubes respectively, choke constrictions of .019/.030 inches, and chambers measured 2 3/4 inches with extractor. The barrels are
fitted to a casehardened sidelock action which is unadorned aside from “L. C. SMITH” marked on either lockplate. The gun features double triggers and a tang mounted automatic safety. The gun
is mounted with a lightly figured and multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with a black hard rubber grip cap and buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 13/16
inch drop at heel; 14 1/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 2 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue finish, 95% plus original case colors, and minor handling evidence. The wood is very fine with an added protective layer of varnish, light handling
evidence, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Grade Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. FWE136084, 12 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl.,
blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured circa 1931. Built with blued steel barrels
featuring a single brass bead on the matted concave solid rib, standard markings on the jewelled flats, “L.C.
SMITH Specialty GRADE” marked on the right barrel with “HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. M’F’R’S FULTON, N.Y., U.S.A.” on the left, choke
constrictions of .015/.041 inches, and chambers measured 2 3/4 inches with ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a casehardened sidelock
action which displays standard Specialty Grade engraving of flowing broad scrollwork surrounding a pair of quail in a field on the left, a duck
in flight over a pond and another duck on the right, and L. C. Smith signatures on either lockplate. The gun features a Hunter One Trigger and a tang mounted manual safety. The gun is fitted
with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved iron and contrasting tip inlay as well as a pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and serrated buttplate. Stock
measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 5/16 inch drop at heel; 13 3/4 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 99% professionally reapplied blue finish, 80% original case colors with some muting, light handling evidence, some tiny chips at the wood to metal fit, and crisp
checkering on the freshened wood. Mechanically excellent.

Factory Engraved Ithaca Grade 4E Single Barrel Trap Shotgun with
Factory Letter - Serial no. 403640, 12 gauge, 32 inch vent rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. The
included factory letter lists this gun as a Grade 4 in 12 gauge with a 32 inch barrel and ejectors, as well as listing the
dates of the production steps, and shipment on May 1, 1952, to Von Lengerke and Antoine. Built with a blued steel barrel featuring
dual bead sights on the matted flat vent rib, engraved star on either side of the chamber, choke constriction of .031 inches, and a 2 3/4 inch
chamber with automatic ejector. The barrel is mated to a casehardened action which displays floral scroll engraving surrounding a hunter
shooting his Ithaca on the left and a Native American with his bow drawn on the right. The gun is fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-
point checkered beavertail forend with engraved iron as well as fleur-de-lis checkered pistol grip stock with black grip cap, “J/W” gold inscription oval, and a factory
red rubber recoil pad. Includes a black leather flat case. Stock measurements: 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 1 3/4 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 6 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue finish, 90% plus original case colors, and minor handling evidence. The wood is very good with some light dings and scratches, a few
small chips at the wood to metal fit, and mostly sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with light storage/transit wear.

Ithaca Grade 5E Knicks Model Single Barrel Trap Shotgun with Case - Serial no.
240405677, 12 gauge, 32 inch vent rib bbl., blue/casehardened/gold finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1975. Built
with a blued steel barrel featuring dual bead sights on the matted flat vent rib, flourishes of scroll engraving at either side of the
breech, choke constriction of .032 inch and 2 3/4 inch chamber with automatic ejector. The barrel is fitted to the casehardened action
which displays beautifully cut floral scroll engraving surrounding the factory markings on the underside as well as a pair of gold inlaid game scenes showing
a pheasant in a field on the left and a woodcock on the right. The engraving is signed “MAINS” hidden in the left scene for then Ithaca factory Master Engraver Bill Mains.
The gun is fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered trap style forend with engraved iron as well as a pistol grip stock with fleur-de-lis checkering, a black grip cap, blank inscription oval, and a
Pachmayr Presentation recoil pad. Includes a black factory flat case. Stock measurements: 1 1/4 inch drop at comb; 1 5/16 inch drop at heel; 14 9/16 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 11 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% original blue, casehardened, and gold finishes with minor handling evidence. The wood is very good with some crazing in the varnish, some residue on the front right of the
forend, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with light storage/transit type wear.
