Factory Class “D” Engraved Colt Third Generation
Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. 90337SA, 45 Long
Colt cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard
rubber grips. Manufactured in 1979. According to the table on
page 118 of “The Post-War Colt Single Action Army Revolver 1955-1975”
by Don Wilkerson, this revolver is one of only three of its configuration
produced from 1956 to 1979 in .45 caliber with a 7 1/2 inch barrel,
blue finish, and Class “D” factory engraving. Features fixed sights, standard
Colt factory markings, along with Colt factory Class “D” floral pattern scroll
engravings with near full coverage of the frame, barrel, and
slide. Matching full serial numbers on the frame, trigger
guard, and grip strap, “COLT ENG.” marked on the trigger
guard, and a matching “0337” partial serial number marked
on the front of the cylinder. Fitted with a pair of black
checkered hard rubber grips with matching “90337” serial
numbers etched on the interiors.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue
finish and case colors with limited handling evidence, well-
defined grip checkering, and crisp engraving.
Mechanically excellent.

Factory Class “B” Engraved Colt Third Generation Single
Action Army Revolver - Serial no. 88593SA, 45 Long Colt
cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips.
Manufactured in 1977. According to the table on page 118 of “The Post-
War Colt Single Action Army Revolver 1955-1975” by Don Wilkerson, this
revolver is one of only 13 produced from 1956 to 1979 in .45 caliber with a 7
1/2 inch barrel, blue finish, and Class “B” factory engraving. Features fixed sights, standard Colt
factory markings, along with Colt factory Class “B” floral pattern scroll engravings covering
50% of the frame, cylinder, and barrel. Matching full serial numbers on the frame, trigger
guard, and back strap, “COLT ENG.” marked on the left
of the trigger guard, and matching “8593” partial serial
number marked on the front of the cylinder. Fitted with
a pair checkered black hard rubber grips with matching
serial numbers etched on the interiors.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue
finish and case colors with a few specs of freckling on
the hammer, limited minor handling evidence, attractive
plum coloration to the trigger guard, well-defined grip
checkering, and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent.

Factory Class “B” Engraved Colt Third Generation New Frontier Single Action Army Revolver with Box -
Serial no. 05036NF, 45 Long Colt cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut grips. Manufactured
in 1980. Features fixed blade front and adjustable notch rear sights, the one-line Colt address roll-marked on top
of the barrel with the model and caliber designations on the left side, the two-line Colt patent dates roll-marked
on the left side of the frame followed with a Rampant Colt, Colt factory “triangle/VP” and “D” proofs on the left
side of the trigger guard with “5” on the right side, along with Colt factory Class “B” floral pattern scroll engravings
with 50% coverage across the grip strap, trigger guard, frame, cylinder, and barrel. Matching full serial numbers
on the frame, trigger guard, and grip strap, “COLT ENG.” marked on the left side of the trigger guard, along
with matching partial serial numbers marked on the front of the cylinder. Fitted with a pair of smooth walnut
grips with gold Colt medallion inserts and matching serial numbers written on the interior in pencil. Includes a
shipping sleeve with matching numbered Colt Custom Shop end label and an un-numbered Colt blue box.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% original blue finish and case colors with limited handling evidence, clear
markings and crisp engraving. The grips are very fine with minor compression marks and some red marks on the
left panel. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine. Shipping sleeve is fair with tears.

Army Revolver with Ivory Grips and Case - Serial no. 85804SA, 45
Long Colt cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, ivory
grips. Manufactured in 1977. Features fixed sights, standard Colt
factory markings, along with Colt factory Class “A” floral pattern scroll
engravings with 25% coverage of the frame, barrel, and slide. According
to the table on page 118 of “The Post-War Colt Single Action Army
Revolver 1955-1975” by Don Wilkerson, this revolver is one of only 13 of
its configuration produced from 1956 to 1979 in .45 caliber with a 7 1/2
inch barrel, blue finish, and Class “A” factory engraving. Matching full serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard,
and grip strap, matching partial serial numbers marked on the front of the cylinder, and “COLT ENG.” marked on
the left side of the trigger guard. Fitted with a pair of conjoined smooth ivory grips with silver Rampant Colt
medallion inserts. Includes a fitted leatherette Colt Custom Shop case.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish and case colors with a few faint cylinder drag
lines, plum coloration to the front strap, attractive grain on the grip, and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent.
The case is very good with mild rub wear on top of the lid.
