While 500 deluxe grade John Wayne commemoratives
were advertised as manufactured in 1982, only 90 units
of this model are believed to have been sold. Truly a rare
Colt or John Wayne collector’s piece. The commemorative glass
display case and tools are included. This revolver shares the same
collector serial number with other John Wayne commemoratives in
this auction.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus of the original
silver and gold finishes, a very attractive lightly aged appearance,
and the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Case is
very fine with crazed varnish.

presentation grade John Wayne commemoratives were
advertised as manufactured in 1982, only 47 units of this
model are believed to have been sold. Truly a rare Colt or John Wayne
collector’s piece. The commemorative glass display case and tools are
included. This revolver shares the same collector serial number with
other John Wayne commemoratives in this auction.
CONDITION: Near new with only the slightest handling marks.
Mechanically excellent. Case is also near new.
