.22 Single Action Revolver - Serial no. DUKE38,
22 cal., 4 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened
finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured circa 1980s
with standard markings and features. The “DUKE”
prefix serialized New Frontier .22 was only available
from Colt to a buyer who bought all three John
Wayne commemorative single actions (standard,
deluxe, and special deluxe). The commemorative
hardwood case is included. This revolver shares the
same collector serial number with other John Wayne
commemoratives in this auction.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, with 99% plus original
blue and casehardened finishes with minimal
handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Case
is excellent.

run, with this example being the 337th. Features the “LAWMAN SERIES-WYATT EARP” mark on the right side of the
barrel and “WYE” suffix serial number on the underside of the frame. Matching full serial numbers on the frame, trigger
guard, and grip strap, matching “337” partial serial number on the front of the cylinder, and assembly number “58” on
the loading gate. Fitted with a pair of smooth walnut grips with matching “337” partial serial numbers written on the
interiors. Includes a matching numbered nickel plated shoulder stock attachment along with a black Colt leatherette
“THE LAWMAN SERIES/”Wyatt Earp”” marked presentation case with a gold stenciled scene of the Earp posse of
Tombstone on the lid.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original royal blue, casehardened, and nickel finishes with limited minor
handling evidence and crisp markings. Mechanically excellent. Case is exceptionally fine with some minor storage wear.

grips. Manufactured in 1967 as one of
500 produced in a limited run, with this
example being the 337th. Features the
“LAWMAN SERIES - BAT MASTERSON”
marking on the left side of the barrel and
“LMP” suffix serial number on the underside of the frame. Matching full serial numbers on the frame,
trigger guard, and grip strap, matching “337” partial serial number on the front of the cylinder, and
assembly number “537” on the loading gate. Fitted with a pair of checkered black hard rubber grips
with matching “337” partial serial numbers etched on the interiors. Includes a black Colt leatherette
presentation case with silver stenciled text from a letter to Colt from Bat Masterson.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original nickel finish with a few faint cylinder drag lines,
limited handling evidence, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is exceptionally fine.

337th. Features the “LAWMAN SERIES - PAT
GARRETT” marking on the right side of the
barrel and “PGP” suffix serial number on the
underside of the frame. Matching full serial
numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and grip strap, a matching “337” partial serial number on the front
of the cylinder, and assembly number “818” on the loading gate. Fitted with a pair of pearlite grips with
gold Colt medallion inserts. Includes a black Colt leatherette “THE LAWMAN SERIES/”Pat Garrett”” marked
presentation case with a gold stenciled image of Pat Garrett along with the shared tombstone of Garrett
felled outlaws Tom O’Folliard, Charlie Bowdre, and William H. “Billy the Kid” Bonney.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original nickel and gold finishes with a few minor cylinder
drag lines, limited minor handling evidence, and clear roll-marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is very
fine with some minor storage wear.

Matching full serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and grip strap, “128” electro-stenciled on the
left of the trigger guard, and assembly number “78” on the loading gate. Fitted with a pair of pearlite
grips with silver Colt medallion inserts. Includes a black Colt leatherette “THE LAWMAN SERIES/”Wild Bill”
Hickok” marked presentation case with a silver stenciled image of “Wild Bill” Hickok.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish and nickel plating with some faint cylinder
drag lines, limited handing evidence, and crisp roll-marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine
with some light storage pattern edge wear.
