Order Engraved Winchester Deluxe Model 1876 Lever Action Rifle - Serial
no. TR03, 45-75 cal., 28 inch part octagon bbl., blue/casehardened finish,
walnut stock. Manufactured c. 2005 to 2008 using an original Winchester Model
1876 action, only 25 of these incredible recreations of Theodore Roosevelt’s
John Ulrich engraved Winchester deluxe Model 1876 rifle were produced by
Turnbull Restorations to exact specifications. In 2005, the Turnbull team were
given unprecedented access to Roosevelt’s original 1876, currently housed at
Sagamore Hill National Historic Site in New York, where they were allowed to
take extensive measurements and photographs to use in their endeavors to
recreate this legendary rifle.
